Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues
Only 16:9 resolutions are selectable. In order to play at 16:10, 4:3, or 5:4 (1280x1024), follow the instructions below. The attached fix will remove the black bars, alter the FoV appropriately, and enable borderless widescreen.
Download the "MVCI 16x10 Fix" from the attachments above. Extract the archive to the main EXE's folder (...\MARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE\MVCI\Binaries\Win64) and run the fix patcher. Make sure that the backup option is checked. The game will now run in your desktop resolution.
Issues/Anomalies
-----------------------------------------------------------
**The following only apply to 16:10, 4:3, and 5:4 resolutions with the 16:10 fix applied.**
- Due to the game being designed only for 16:9, FMVs and menus are cropped to the narrower aspect ratios. This isn't problematic for 16:10, but 4:3 and 5:4 have parts of the menus cut off and not visible.
Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
Download the 2560x1080 or 3440x1440 fix from the attachments above. Extract the archive to the main EXE's folder (...\MARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE\MVCI\Binaries\Win64) and run the fix patcher. Make sure that the backup option is checked. The game will now run in the patched resolution.
32:9 is also supported. Instructions are the same except for the usage of the 32:9 fix. See "Additional Screenshots" below for image.
Issues/Anomalies
-----------------------------------------------------------
- FMVs are played at the left side of the screen.
- If inside of a tiered menu, the subsequent and/or previous screens may appear on the sides of the screen which would have previously been hidden.
- The altered FoV causes the main menu and stage select cards to not display at full height.
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues
Download the 48x9 fix from the attachments above. Extract the archive to the main EXE's folder (...\MARVEL VS. CAPCOM INFINITE\MVCI\Binaries\Win64) and run the fix patcher. Make sure that the backup option is checked. The game will now run in your desktop resolution.
