Dell Releases Two New DisplayPort Monitors in its U-Series
Saw a post at Engadget over the weekend, outlining two new monitors in the Dell U-Series. Both models are 1920x1080, with IPS panels and DisplayPort connectors. Considering the existing offerings from HP that are 1080p IPS with DisplayPort, there are now more choices than ever for higher quality panels that support Eyefinity.
I've been working with a TN set of panels in 5x1-P, and I can say that if you are looking to go Portrait mode an IPS panel is worth the investment. I'm working to outline the performance differences between TN and IPS in a future video. But in the meantime, IPS continues to get more accessible thanks to HP and Dell.
