BlazeRush

An isometric-ish racer-shooter whose subtle gameplay is served by a beautifully bare-bones control scheme. All vehicles are maintained within reasonable distance of each other along the race, so that using power-ups and evading trouble until the last second is more important than just having the fastest ride. Targem's in-house engine is also pleasantly undemanding whilst delivering colorful FX, detailed physics and particles galore. In career mode, earned points and cups unlock new cars and challenges respectively. Up to 4 local players can enter the fray. Party mode supports up to 8 players online.

2D elements stretch. The video loop behind menus is Vert-.

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues

The stretching of 2D elements is painful. The minimap doesn't stretch but is zoomed-in and slightly cut-off. On the car selection screen, 3D models are hidden by the stretched character list.

To avoid losing sight of your ride around bezel gaps, in Graphics settings set 'Camera tracks' to 'Local players only'. Obviously it works best with only one local player.
