The Operative: No One Lives Forever

No One Lives Forever is a story-driven, first-person adventure delivering over-the-top action, tense subterfuge, outrageous villains, and wry humor in the tradition of the great 1960s spy films and TV shows. Players assume the role of Agent Archer, an operative working for a covert anticrime organization. Armed with an assortment of conventional and experimental weaponry and gadgets, players explore exotic locales and contend with deadly agents as they evade traps, unravel mysteries, and become entangled in a cleverly constructed conspiracy that threatens the entire free world.

Solutions & Issues
Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues

Natively the game stretches on widescreen. However there is a fix that makes the game Hor+. The menu and interface remain pixel-based.

Installation:
1. Fix available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there)
2. Put the "WidescreenPatch.rez" file in your NOLF directory.
3. Run the launcher, click on "Advanced".
4. Put this into the commandline field: „-rez "WidescreenPatch.rez"„ (without the outer quotes).
5. Make sure "always pass these command-line parameters" is checked.
6. Start the game, go to display and select the desired resolution.

A detailed list of features and problems can be found in the readme file.
