The demo doesn't seem to run well on a ti4600; I've got a P4 2.4 Ghz processor and 512 megs of RAM too. It's slow as the creeping crud.

Just use regedit and go here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECodemastersColin McRae Rally 04 Demo

Then edit the Height and Width values in decimal mode.
