you misunderstand me, :) i am hoping that we may soon see a desktop 17" TFT with the 1440x900 resolution and a 16ms response....... OT: my Acer Aspire 1360 series laptop with a 15.4" WXGA screen should arrive tomorrow, so i shall be attempting to get M:TW to work on it pronto, and seeing if UT2k4 is... |

i am very much a PC user so thats not a problem, its just that apple widescreen displays are by far the best available so even PC users will want them despite the price premium. |

yes that was a typo, but apple do claim it has similar screen area to a 19" CRT.........

Apple have just announced a new range of G5 I-macs, one of which comes with a 17" widescreen capable of 1440x900. i can only presume that this is a new screen given the better resolution for its size, and therefore it should have a 16ms response like the rest of the Cinema Display range, (and unlike... |

is the apple screen 16ms? all the large (23" 1920x1200) widescreens i have seen are 25ms minimum. in fact all widscreen TFT monitors period are greater than 23ms response. :(
when oh when will widescreen catch up with the box? |
