You probably could if you knew what you were looking for, but feel free to email it my way - info AT mirdev DOT net. I imagine the patch would be very similar, and I should be able to add it to the collection for all :) |

I think I may have stumbled upon a generic patch for most EA Sports titles... can you do me a favour and check if there is a file name DXWRAP.DLL anywhere in the game's folder (most probably in the "bin" folder)? Infact, anybody else who may be reading this who has an EA Sports title installed, chec... |

You'll need a No-CD 'fixed' SPEED2.EXE ... you can grab one from here. The reason for this is the original EXE is compressed and/or encrypted which makes it impossible to patch. The No-CD fixed EXE is decompressed/decrypted which means it can be patched. |

Yep looks like the same engine. I don't have the game myself but looked at a cracked EXE it looks like more or less the same patch should work. I've updating my modified patches.ini, download it and give it a go if you like :)
Same deal as the POP1 patch, you'll need a cracked EXE to apply it. |

I'll write a little step-by-step the next time I do one... it can be quite involved requiring some low-level debugging to find out what needs changing, but thankfully there are a few quick and dirty tricks which can be applied to many games, although even this route often requires a lot of trial and... |

Hmmm that's odd. I just installed the 1.1 update and the 1.1 NoCD, patched with UniWS and it appears to work fine. It may be possible that the UniWS undo data from the 1.0 EXE is conflicting with the 1.1 EXE. I'd suggest removing speed2.undo from your NFSU2 folder, reinstalling the 1.1 NoCD EXE, and... |

I just posted a patch for this game here in the Wogg's collection thread as it uses Wogg's UniWS patcher.
It does require a cracked EXE but it works perfectly :) |

I'm a total newbie to these forums, but I've used Wogg's hacks before in the past. I just got my hands on Need for Speed Underground 2 and desperately wanted some custom resolutions, so after 10 minutes with a hex editor I managed to create a patch. To keep things simple, I just added the patch to W... |
