It's a little bit of an older game, but I would love to have it work in widescreen. Any ideas? |

SOLUTION!
Use the same steps as Doom3 (it IS the same engine, so that makes sense)

Doesent appear so...it does have an aspect ratio choice...but that doesent affect the resolution choices...16:9 with 1600x1200? I don't think so. I need 1680x1050 w/ 16:10. Apparently thats not supported. |

Solution!
In your Sam2.ini file, under fxAspectratio Line, change it to 1.6. This will get rid of all the bars. Note that this is only for those using 16:10 moniters. |

For whatever reason, I cannot choose a resolution higher then 1152X768. I know for a fact the game supports higher, but it does not give me the choices it should. I'm using an Nvidia 6800Ultra with the latest drivers, with a dell 20in widescreen display. Any ideas why I can't choose a higher resolut... |

Seriously, when are these developers going to learn to include widescreen support? Sigh....so annoying. |

I can confirm that it doesn't support widescreen out of the box. However it does support higher 4:3 ratio resolution. It auto detect your video card and monitor capability and only give you the option that's supported by your hardware. Anyway, I am very disappointed by this. It's just retarded not ... |
