a buddy of mine once beat a chase in 9 seconds. He drove past them and they got stuck behind a tree, so he lost them again. :? Even faster : RAM THEM ! And if there's only one car and you're fast enough, you'll kill it.

| 4 is the bare minimum : XY for the viewport (the image rendered) and XY for the presentation window (the surface displayed on the screen). My only fear is that all the others fields are needed because they do influence the texture rendering in-game - like full screen rendering effects - or proportio... |

With the system below (rather old !), I can run at 1650x1080 smoothly with this kind of details :

| I tried the WR2 Honda Civic 2006 Demo and though it supported widescreen, the aspect ratio wasn't correct, objects were stretched horizontally even though there was 1:1 pixel mapping @ 1920x1200. Heck also you know because your monitor doesnt change res when you alt tab back ;) You can also fire the menu setup of your screen and most of them will display the signal parameters : height, width and refresh rate.
