Have 3007 with 2007s and 7970 on the way... I know either the drivers or the game can blank the flank screens in games with limitations or which are better off using only one screen, but are there any plugins/apps etc. which can display custom images or even "mood lighting" type effects on the flank...

If verified, EA's stance of "fairness" is total BS. 90% of new blockbusters support widescreen, because they know that the top of the line users enjoy it. Has anyone tried this with the mobility 9700??


I have a mobility 9700, and with ATI Tray Tools the centered timings work perfectly, black bars, no stretch.

this is really pissing me off too. The FOV setting just adjusts the camera position, but the geometry is still stretched sideways. I also can't get AA to work in game. What is wrong with this.
