I've been intrigued by this since it was announced a year or so ago, they're starting a Beta test sometime soon, any of you US members signed up for it?

Obviously it's not a replacement for high end gaming equipment, but I think the idea behind it is very clever!

I have to say this technology looks very cool :) I've just migrated back to the world of Windows after using macs for about 2 years (literally this week. I felt held back on the Macs. They just wouldn't do everything the way I wanted). I'm still using the hardware in my sig at the mo, but this may b...

Awesome! I really liked the original Soldier of Fortune, though i found the second one to be pretty disappointing.

The train level on the first one was really amazing for the time :).

Yeah, just like crank, i use Project64, good emulator but very slow updates. Owwww that's an old one, didn't think they'd still be going! I used to run an emulation site years ago, had tons of N64 roms online. I ended up having to stop as i ran out of web space. My ISP limited the "unlimited...

Zelde: Ocarina of Time even has triplehead support (okay with an emulator but it still does his job quite good) What's the best N64 emu these days? I haven't used one for about 4 years so am a little out of the loop :). UltraHLE was the last one I used actually, i know that HAS to have been bettere...

About the only thing that's upsetting to me so far is they're saying no predators, just herbivores. They thought the predator AI would mess things up too much with the human AI. They want it to be focused on factions and gun/drug cartels rather than too much of the "wild kingdom" thing. I can...

I'm not surprised about Gears of War. I did think at times during gameplay that i couldn't quite see enough of what was going on - but i assumed it was just the way the game was designed, to feel more real. I didnt think for a second it would be vert-.

I can't believe how bad Carbon was. The handling of the cars was just so much worse compared to MW. :? It's just unbelievable how a game can get screwed up. :? Did EA have the same team working on it as MW? Maybe they did what Ubisoft do, and have a few teams working on games at once. I remember th...

[quote]Like, NFS: Underground was good, Underground 2 was rubbish (well I thought so :)), NFS: MW was brilliant, then Carbon came out as wasn't nearly as good (though it had some good ideas). C&C 3 is great though, they really have done a good job on it! :). :) Honestly, I thought the last go...

When EA actually works on a game for a long time, they usually turn out pretty good. They tend to work on "milestone" games for each series every few years, while putting out games that arent quite as good in between... Like, NFS: Underground was good, Underground 2 was rubbish (well I thought so :)...

This may or may not help... But back when i had a laptop with a Radeon 9700 in it, i couldnt just download the latest catalysts, ATI didnt supply them, and Acer never bothered posting new drivers. However, 3rd Party customised drivers were availible, based off the latest versions of the main drivers...

Cool, those explosions do look much better! Looks like they improved the performance a bit from the first GRAW game too, but its still a little slower (As is expected from all the debris though!).

[quote][quote]I played this demo on a 360 (at a retail kiosk), and it doesn't look at all shabby compared to the PC version. Look downright exactly the same, if the PC version doesn't look a bit better. PC version looks ALOT better. 8)Shoot me :( Guess what! Tried it a third time. 2 minutes into th...
