Ok, I tried it. It doesn't seem to work. Here are my screenshots. (There's some slight differences like I forgot to use the same kit and one screen has some text, but you can still easily compare the borders.) Here they are . . . Using +fullscreen Using +widescreen And just for completion, here's th...

+widescreen doesn't fix the FOV as far as I know ... but why not try it yourself ? ... :? :wink:Honestly, I wasn't sure how exactly to compare the results before and after using the tweak since you have to restart the game. Do you just use single player mode and then try to reorient yourself in the...

I was just wondering if there's anyone here who is running a res of 1680x1050 or higher with the highest settings and still gets >50 FPS? . . . I am currently using 1680x1050 with all the in-game settings turned up to maximum. But if I set AA and AT to anything above 2x then I get 30-40 FPS for most...

:? 480 dollar on a couple of harddisks.
I know they are stable and stuff but i wouldn't buy 4 of them.
I would only buy 2 of them as a bootarray.

Four gives twice the sustained transfer rate as two. (linky) . . . These things eat BF2 maps for breakfast.

I just wanted to say "thank you" for the widescreen solution for BF2. It worked perfect on my system at 1680x1050 on a 21" Gateway! Before this I was limited to 1280x1024 because that was the highest the game offered. Now I can enjoy the full resolution that this monitor is meant for, and I can defi...
