With surround I will fourth the Sandybridge route. They are pretty sweet. AMD will do it, but the potential of the I series is alot higher.

is it just during a video?

if its during gameplay let me know, video's in older games were just video files, and sometimes trying to capture them that way would give you an error.

my opinion. never buy a mac for gaming, and two look at what you vs what you can get. For $2000 I can build a tower that meet all your needs and get you a new screen as well. seriously though...what are you going to do that the $300 SB Quad i7 won't handle? His mac is already out of date. Save yours...

I normally bought CPU's as OEM's because of this. However the i5 cooler for work did well, but again...not OCing, not gaming, just sometimes number crunching for 30 seconds.

Not really sure of the problem, maybe some of you have heard of this before or had it, so any help would be great! CM HAF 922 CM Silent Pro 700 A...

Good fix.

Story for you to be aware. I had a wonderful (at the time) abit-NF7-S board...Ram was bad...so I called Corsair and got a new one...it still crashed...yes...the freaking memory slot was bad. I never fixed it because I didn't want to be computerless.

no joke...heck I just started work after finishing school...got a 1 year old, and loans!
I'm still kicking a 939 with an 8800GTS (thanks to my 7900GS dying via RMA from eVGA).

bout to say for application use, SSD is great. and the write limits are in theory...and in that same theory it has been stated that it would take longer to hit the theoretical limited writes than the life of technology anyways. Anyways, as someone that bought into the Raptor...don't bother, its real...

I'd recommend the smaller one depending on how close your sitting 2210 has the same res and a tighter pitch.

OR

Go U2410 and get the better panel...(well worth it IMHO)
I'm a single screen user, and thats the route I would go.

I have a 2x22 ST2210's by dell at work, nice screens....but for home I wouldn't recommend them, IPS panels are a lot nicer to the eyes. I'd go for the dell, otherwise you might get buyers remorse.

I just built a new rig for work (work...not personal). As a financial manager I don't need gaming but just massive screen space to see alot at once. I didn't want any lag time and wanted it to last 5 years without having to worry/convince my boss I need a new rig. Specs i5 650 (dual core), 4GB DDR3 ...

watercooling is based one the concept of either quiet with little performance over fans, or high performance with noise. Like a car they require air to pass through the rad.

from an IT background. My experience says. Its ruined. Normally when liquids get into a laptop its done. Espically cheap models without the spill-proof keyboards. (like that of the T60's series)
