same here, but I disagree. I'm not sure how the x850 ran it, but my 6800 got raped...hardcore, the engine was not responsive and it sucked, (thanks to huge textures and HDR that you couldn't turn OFF)

with the new card, I completely disagree.

um, steam supports, both those res's just 1280x768 is 16:9 not 16:10, 1280x800 is 16:10 (me thinks)

just go to options and video man.

do realize that the demo runs low quality textures to keep it small. that could be why.

I would watch that speaker behind the monitor on the right though - that could potentially cause damage to the LCD screen :shock:

As noted in many LCD brands' owner's manuals....
you talking about the screen on the right? or the NEC?

naturally I disagree, but do find a 20.1 normal display larger than the wides. still not worth it to me, the viewsonic should be a fine monitor.
