how can I find out the limitations of my card via DVI? Why would I need to add the res myself if my card can support it? And if I do add a res myself, is that bad for my card/monitor? I can get 1680x1050 via Analog with no problems whatsoever. Oh - one intresting thing - when I force 1680x1050 via D...

I'm using a Gigabyte GeForce 5500 (N55256D) (nVidia) via DVI to my just-purchased-today Viewsonic VX2025wm. I downloaded the latest driver for the video card from Gigabyte website. Now when I right-click desktop, properties, settings and try to change screen res, the max I can change to is 1280x1024...
