Tried Firefall out on their open beta weekend. First class multimonitor support. Recognized resolution and displayed an aspect ratio of 3x16:10, FOV was correct, HUD was centered. Two minor issues, the HUD is customizeable but the range to move things is only in the center screen. And currently the ...

Is everyones minimap, ammo on 1st and 3rd screen or is that just TH2Go users (like me). Any way of moving it to middle screen. For ref i'm running 3840x1024 80 fov in the ini. Our clan has a 24 man server now (Cows With Guns) if you fancy dropping by. I'm running 5240x1050 (100 pixel bezels) with a...

Paradigm Shifter, your review was very impressive in scope and much appreciated. Seeing how quickly VRAM was gobbled up even at 1920 was something that large review sites have not really expressed. You've created quite the interesting problem for me. The good news is I've made a few decisions since ...

scheffchen, Check out the benchmarks in this review: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/08/16/sli_cfx_pcie_bandwidth_perf_x16x16_vs_x16x8. Among the benchmarks, they're testing at 3x 1920x1200 resolution a 5870 at 1gb and 2gb of ram, with very little difference realized. It could be a 5870 limitati...

Well that's a pretty stark difference. Can't wait to see the rest. I hope you get the opportunity to throw in a 5040x1050 on one of the tests to see which side of the nosedive point its on.

I've found one review of the 2GB variant of the GTX 460: http://en.expreview.com/2010/08/08/exclusive-review-of-zotac-geforce-gtx-460-2gb-edition/9041.html/9 They only tested up to 2560x1600. At that resolution two games out of their test battery clearly topped out the 1GB cards and there was a sign...

Thanks for the help so far guys. ez' your general numbers and feel for the games are very helpful. It sounds like 1920x1080 is perfectly reasonable, I play a cross-section of games similar to the ones you mentioned. Phantom, do you do play many shooters? Do they handle x1200 well? I'd love to stick ...

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is an appeal for data. A lot of us have been waiting for a good surround vs eyefinity review including the 460s to show up, but there is still nothing to be found. I've noticed a few members here already have GTX 460 SLI surround setups, so please allow the rest of us to p...

Projectors have a higher maintenance cost from the bulbs sure, but if you take the size vs price into account, they're less expensive then a similarly sized flat panel. How expensive would it be to get say 3 plasma/lcd that are 100+in diag. in size each? I don't disagree, but the obvious best part ...

[quote]Only way i'd be interested in 720p triple-head would be via projectors. 720p LCD tv bezels are too chunky. Would be cool. Cookie to whoever can find a cost effective, small form factor, long bulb life and overall good image quality projector to suit the job! I thought about that but 3x the b...

I have a 24" right now, and was thinking of just getting 2 more to match, but I hate running non-native resolution.

It always seemed to make text far too fuzzy. Do you guys just live with it? Use something else for text? Or has something changed since I last tried?

Guys, I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone has done this yet. It seems that 3x 1366x768 would be a very manageable resolution that you can run native on TVs. Plus, those are mostly the older TVs that are selling cheaply enough now to make this possible. Can anyone point me in the right di...
