No, you aren't. It's going to take some time, after Ubisoft having the latest Prince of Persia sell fairly well on the PC without DRM (despite being, frankly, shitty) for their sudden mega-fail-DRM attempt to be forgotten or forgiven. ;) Weird you say that since every news story I ever read said Pr...

That would be fine if the FMVs were 4:3, but since they are 16:9, drawing a 640x480 picture is a flawed approach.

Well, considering when it came out they obviously wanted to have black bars to make it more cinematic.

I wonder if I can read a thread about an Ubisoft game for the next few years without seeing the phrase "DRM."

Hopefully that fixes the load times issue some people had so that I don't need to hear about it ever again.

...and upscaled from 720p from the consoles, they look crap :(

I thought all the cutscenes were in-engine, not FMV... maybe I missed a couple?

We've had this debate before with the movies... as long as they look as intended in widescreen I think they should be fine, but I know others disagree.

The important thing is someone can read this report and know it's an "A" experience, despite the "B."

The attack probably put extra demand on the servers... it's not exactly crazy they blamed demand first.

[quote]Of course sadly PC gamers are too whiney to accept such a thing. Bold words I say Let's talk about my case, shall I have enough gaming budget to get myself 5 60$ games each month I wouldn't complain about it... However, as it is, I'm already waiting for games to drop price before buying ... ...

I remember someone saying on GTs Bonus Round that they make more money per copy of a PC game sold then they do per copy of a console, the reason being they have to pay licences to release games for the consoles while they don't for the PC, which is one reason PC games are cheaper then console games...

[quote]If your drivers are that old then of course the first thing to try is updating them. "Old" being two months old? lol. I will be trying to update the drivers to see if that solves the issue, but i was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this. Thanks. Well, with cutting edge tech lik...

Technically, if you're not the single worst developer in the world, you're one of the best in the world. Har. And actually, they probably have as much a right to say that as James Cameron has a right to say he is one of the best mocie directors in the world. Sales bring about respect within the ind...

What really makes me sad is that devs probably know that these DRM measures will push people away from PC games and toward consoles. What makes me even more sad than that is that the more I think about it, the more it seems that is their intention. I have had the radical conspiracy theory that publ...

When i first time launched the game everything was fine but when i changed some graphic elements like AA after restart game launches with black bars and i cant change it back. Maybe i will need to buy a new monitor or find something that caused that. It's anamorphic, it is nothing you did. Perhaps ...

I'm sort of torn... the downtime shows how bad this DRM is for paying customers, but on the other hand it was hackers who took it down.

No one wins, I guess is the end point.

Someone might, but since it works in triplehead it probably won't be a focus at the moment.

Get a widescreen monitor dude, they're sweet.

The servers have been problamatic, the rumor is because of greater than expected sales (which is a good thing). Personally though, other then when EA was down entirely last night I haven't had a problem getting games, it just takes a few attempts to connect. As for graphics, there are effects which ...

I found that ME2 is a whole lotta fun! Sure hope some DLC missions start coming out.

We got two already and a massive third one has been announced with multiple new tank missions. There is also a new character coming, some female assassin.
