There is two versions of the fix that has those 3 files in it. The version made for the CD installed game. and The version made for the STEAM installed version of the game. the EDID in dx10 won't list 5040x1050 because the firmware adds support for it but doesn't make it the native resolution, the native res is stil listed as 3840x1024 so you got to hack the EDID with the EDIDrestrictionflag 0 in the registry for dx10 and 5:1 aspect. So you're saying you can play at 5040x1050 in DX10 mode ingame?

If so I'm sorry to say I just don't believe that. Every game I've tried in DX mode at that resolution does not work...

Hi Fellas, I've tried using the cd files uploaded here with both v1.3 and v1.3.1 of doom 3 (without RoE installed), and the aspect is all short and fat in 5040x1050. This is in XP 32 bit. Yup, I get this problem. You've done a good job with the fonts though! I just rely on a cack-handed click click click approach... Wish there was a proper way around it though.

The reason I bought TH2go is this game!

I hope you get it working. I have it working at 5040x1050 and I also use Gp4tweaker (for the in car padlock view).

I second the advice about only altering the F1config file, not actually the ingame resolution.

Anyway, you haven't stated is it in Dx9 or 10? It should work in '9' mode, it wont work in '10' mode (in surround).

Yep me and you both mate! Xp 32 bit 178.13 works fine at 5040x1050 (DX9) Vista 64 bit - no chance. The resolutions as you say, don't even appear in the 'change mode' option. I can force 3840x800 (which I think is the highest resolution you can add) in the edit mode option, but again this only works ...

Windows wont let you revert back to an older DirectX version (without hacking and lots of not so stable third party software - or emulators).
