As far as I know it only works with DVI.


Thanks. That could explain it. Just bought a DVI cable off eBay, hopefully this'll end my non-widescreen gaming nightmares :P

With my 7800GS using the 93.71 drivers, I do NOT see any centered timings / force aspect ratio options. The wiki link to pillarboxing shows a section called Display Panel Properties. From there you could do force aspect, center, etc. Does anyone know the most recent driver that contained that? I don...

Is this only for DVI inputs? My 27" LCD TV doesn't allow me the option of forced aspect ratio when in advanced timings nor does my Acer AL1916W (19" wide) - both are using Sub inputs.

Would like to know as well. Closest I see under options to a 1.777 ratio is 1280x768 (1.6666)
