If you're using some of the more recent drivers the custom resolutions seem absent or broken. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=10789848&post10789848 That's the only way I've gotten custom resolutions to work in Vista so far, although you don't actually need to edit the inf. The same... |

I think 1920x1200 would be "80 07 00 00 B0 04". |

Are there any rendered cut-scenes that appear later in the game?
Nope, all in-game. The only rendered video is at the beginning with the Episode One recap, and that scales properly. |

dsc, you want 1400x1050. It's a relatively common 4:3 resolution on laptops, and works fine 1:1 with a 22". |

That should be the horizontal back-end active.
Hmm, I tried changing that and it resets itself back to 1280 every time you try to test. |

Does anyone know how to get this to work with the nVidia control panel? These are the only options there are; there doesn't seem to be back end active or anything. I tried messing with horizantal total and vertical total, but those didn't seem to do anything, still stretched by monitor (trying to ge... |

1) BFG 6600GT
2) 93.81
3) No, never worked. None of the nVIDIA scaling options provide a readable display, and do not scale is also broken. Also seems to set the resolution during these modes to 1600x1200 although it recognizes that the monitor's native is 1680x1050. |
