Hell, I don't get why they just don't stop selling the game completely, and only sell CD Keys in boxes. Then, when you get home to log in to their website, put the key in and it downloads a small package that hooks you up to their servers, where the game actually is. Then, you just play the game ov... |

Nvidia CP/3D settings: Defalt settings with pre-renderer frames set to:6 While you have good intention to help others, such a setting isn't really good for recommendation. It needs to take account of what resolution and other settings you use with it. I for one get severe performance drops with any... |

both those 'sli patches' are only for a few games, and unless you play those specific games, are completely useless. |

The 186.18 drivers give me a BSOD on boot about an unpaged something or other. I'm guessing their inclusion of stereo glasses detection is screwing things up. Not a big whoop, the only issue I've had hasn't been fixed in about 10+ revisions anyhow. |

You could fetch one of the many hex converter/calculators out there (windows own calc can do this in scientific mode) or even just use google:

That I know of all 8800 gtx are 768mb, only 8800 gts has 640mb, might explain the performance problems and why a gtx275 would improve on it. |

I installed ME, it worked fine. I installed the v1.01 patch and ME would no longer start. I installed bdts and it worked again. Unless I can find more content however, I'll just uninstall the load of it, lack of mod tools and seriously lacking dlc indicate there won't be much point to keep it instal... |

I'm playing at 1920x1080 as well, no map issue so far. The only issue I've had is ever since I applied the v1.01 patch and bring down the sky addon I randomly get infinite overheat. It never cools down. The companions sometimes get it as well and there are even times that all npcs stop shooting enti... |

Projectors have a higher maintenance cost from the bulbs sure, but if you take the size vs price into account, they're less expensive then a similarly sized flat panel.
How expensive would it be to get say 3 plasma/lcd that are 100+in diag. in size each? |

Just a thought about that optical drive, perhaps the sata 1.5/3.0 settings might be affecting it? or maybe something else in the bios it doesn't like?
Were it PATA I'd suggest checking the cable/item order but not sure what could happen on a sata one. |

Tough luck, hope next works for you.
Personnaly I'm waiting for the next popcorn hour media tank, the new revision includes a spot to put a full-sized optical drive, such as a blu-ray one.

I'm placing this resolution back in the "untested" list until we get REAL confirmation.
I'll test it once they release a demo for it, my rule-book includes a no-demo=no-purchase entry. |

Softh is all well and nice but it was made as an add-on hack, while brilliant it's only a workaround to the existing framework. I'm talking about implementing it natively for the cards, drivers-wise. Softh is only usable wrapping around for d3d games and then, only some. No ogl, no universal compati... |

I would imagine the rep. were probably told not to disclose any pricing for a couple reasons: - not discourage potential buyers immediatly - not confirm what so far is more rumor than fact Personnaly, I wouldn't pay more than about 1000$ for such a display, otherwise, I may as well get 2-3 42in 1080... |

I remember reading about it under the NEC brand some time back with a pricetag in that range, a quick google search turn out an example:

Though an odd resolution I can understand why they wouldn't go for 3840x1024 or 5040x1050. Those would target high-end users, the gtx285 and 4890x2 and whatever. Which is all likelyhood is still the minority of the target market. With 2880x900 you get a larger target. Of course this flys in the face... |

I still have some eDimensional glasses lying around somewhere. After reading that some were using em with dlp projectors I thought about trying it. What's stopping me is, is there any way it could damage the projector ? |
