I've looked into geforce to quadro mods since my 8800 are close to fx quadro 5600 but as far as I can tell the tools to do so are xp only and even then, wouldn't add sli mosaic capacity, from what docs I could find, it seems to be dedicated hardware in their quadro plex solutions that's simply not p... |

Let's not forget steam's annoying habit of refusing to start at all, the only fix to delete the .blob files and have to relog altogether to start it again. |

Actually my reply was aimed at savlaka, as for only 1 pci-e slot, you could always try with a pci card, though performance is likely to suffer. |

As long as you already have 2 cards you may as well run it directly as 1920x1200x3 with softth |

I use the cable extension + switch method even with both a dvi and hdmi switch at my disposal. Reason for that is the switches are typically far from reliable and they aren't the 'cheap 40$' kind either. |

I don't know how they would work in reverse like you intend. But I have used startech 1dvi to 2 dvi out splitters with little success. Most likely due to dvi/hdmi being bidirectionnal and requiring talking to the end display. Probably better and/or cheaper to get some extensions and simply plug whic... |

I'd love to help you, but using expressions like "to be gay" is just a total turn off.
Maybe you've seen your box hump someone elses, but I haven't so until then, find something else to say please. |

I'd mainly push for something more public then person to person messages since it would just be me adding yet another project to a pile I haven't begun to reduce. |

Any info you can give me would be much appreciated dopefish, however, wouldn't it be more productive if maybe we set-up a wiki or something with all the 'how-to' info and related, so anyone that wants/can help could? |

If it hasn't been said before, mind which brand as well, there have been reports of not being able to combine offerings from both teams to do this. |

Were I to be nasty I'd question your reasons for investing in rectangle pixels in the first place. Anyhow, I understand that can't really be changed now. If I knew how to do fov fixes like those Racer_S did I probably would. As it stands though, I can barely find double pointers at the moment. Maybe... |

Tried running a non-native res. to counter in the opposite way? I've never used a plasma, I guess it depends how useful the onboard scaler is. |

if any/all of those have something like an in-game zoom of some type, sniper rifle or other wise. You can probably use that with a generic memory tool like cheat engine, example, fov is 90 regular and put to 40 for 'zoom effect', once you isolate where that value is, you can set whatever you want. |

About the only issue with 16:9 vs 16:10 is that for the typical 1920x1080 res. you lose the largest common 4:3 res, aka 1600x1200 which for things that don't have wide res. fixes can be annoying when stuck with 1280x960 instead. Of course that can be fixed with a custom 1440x1080 res. but not entire... |

No, not tray vs slot, What I mean is, is it the laptop style tray, also like the ps2slim, where you have to stick the disc on the spinner part, not just drop it in a tray free-roaming, like most desktop 5 1/4 inch drives are. I'm asking because I already have an external dvd reader with the desktop ... |

I've been considering the SE-S084B but couldn't find a good picture of it, is it the tray/free-roaming disc kind or the laptop, stick disc on pike kind? |

... Just because Maxtor say's it is....Dosen't mean that it's true!
Hate to point the obvious but it's not matrox that says it is, the dual-link dvi specs say it is. |

I loved the game, but honestly I agree with a 70% total. The audio, such as in the dancing-inducing retro 60's style level or the creepy pop-up girl one later on, is good. However it could've been much better. The retro level for example has a nice beat to it, but after a few repeats of it when you ... |

The first time you call customer service and you can't understand the guy on the other end through the accent you understand why this matters...
That's provided you reach anyone at all.
From past dell and asus experiences. |
