i've decided to take a wild stab in the dark and get this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-2443BW-24-Inch-Monitor/dp/B001EX01YM in the UK, by law you get 7 days cooling off period anyway, so as long as i test it thoroughly and send it back quick, IF i don't like it, there should be np.. but i'm ... |

Not much difference from 22" to 24" so save your money and get a bigger size in the future (30" :P).
well, there's led's and plasma etc etc..
this is something i wanted to do over a year ago, so it's kinda catchup..
i got a 32" full HD tv anyway :P
(i bought it JUST to play GTA4 on!) |

is what i just bought about a month or so ago its excellent right out of the box it had a dead pixle for a day or 2 but it went away seems like a very good monitor
wow, check the customer reviews, 77% (out of 1002) gave 5 stars.. |

good question.
i hate wasting money, but i don't really have a problem with cost..
i'm thinking something up to around £350 would be acceptable.. |

ok, juuuust about to buy a 24", 1920x1200 monitor, thoughts? currently got an HP W2207 22", 1680 x 1050 and want to make the final jump to 1920 x 1200. i like the monitor, it's got a shiny screen, so i got it away from the windows, but the colour separation is really good. what's my criteria? gaming... |

I've got a 7900GTO running a lot of stuff quite happily at 1920x1200. It just depends how high you want settings. ;) Most games can be played with completely acceptable settings. ;)
you seen the tests for the 8800GT?
it's rather good! |

First of all, no. Second, GT? GT what? (yeah probably the GTS) there are GTS and GTX. Neither of which is worth to get 2 of them for that resolution. sorry i meant GTS's (i hadn't finished editing the post, you were too quick!) ok thx for your reply :) can you explain your reasoning? for me the GTX... |

hi, i've got a 22" widescreen, 1680x1050 native res monitor...(a rather nice 5ms HP model, actually) and am soon going to be buying a new system... i considering going for an SLI solution using 2 x 8800GTS's...prob the 640mb one... i've seen plenty of benchies that state that at 1024x768 most single... |
