Fantastic!!! Eagerly awaiting the beta download on Steam...

Edit - I'm a dummy, it was already in my uninstalled games list

Oh wow, so glad I held off on pre-ordering that one. I wonder if we can expect similar things from AvP and Bad Company 2. I'm hovering over the pre-order on those at the moment. Very disappointing, but let's hope we see a patch very soon.

yep the destructible terrain in particular looks like a laugh. Valve are rather dragging their heels (as usual) on releasing the pre-order on Steam, which I'm hoping will include beta access.

I twittered the DICE chap about Eyefinity support & he posted this...

"Yes we support Eyefinity by ATI. Yes the FOV is rendered differently in 4:3 and 16:9." http://twitter.com/Demize99

Wait, all you did was correct the aspect ratio in MW2? It looks like I can see more with eyefinity than without... :?:

Thats what I thought too. If a BC2 fix turned out like MW2 then I for one could live with that :-)

Shame, but it's nearly there. I loved that game when it was originally released. The new one is going to be sh*t scary in Eyefinity with the lights out :hide

Sorry for the delay in responding. I decided to re-install the 9.12 hotfix drivers, and lo & behold, things are looking better. Here are some benchmarks I just ran. I'm getting the same issue with Dirt2 and in my case it's definitely Crossfire that's killing it. 36fps avg with one 5850, 11fps avg in Crossfire .

Bizarrely, 5760x1200 is listed under the 16:9 options in L4D2, not 16:10.

Picts or it didn't happen. Oh ok then . Bear in mind, I used a really wide angle lens for these pics as there's a wall just behind the camera position, so the stretched effect on the side screens looks more pronounced than it really is in real life.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I was so close to pulling the trigger on another couple of 2475w's, but then decided £800+ of peripheral view monitors was just too much money, and I'd get a better end result by going a bit cheaper on the extra monitors and going crossfire with another 5850 (which al...
