Update: I want the NEC mon on the right of the 3 Acers. If the Acer monitors aren't grouped or if the group only includes two monitors (one can be the DP adapter) then the positions ARE saved after reboot. If I set up a 3 monitor group then after reboot the NEC has moved to the left side and its res...

I removed the second card and now when I adjust monitor positions they remain the same after reboot. So Windows or the video driver doesn't handle the second card properly. A Microsoft support person said both cards should be exactly the same -two HD6850's for instance. I will try that next as a wor...

I hope this is the right place to post. In Windows 7 Pro or Home I can't save the monitor positions. I have 3 1680x1050 Acers (two DVI, 3rd on DP to VGA adapter) in an HD6850 Eyefinity group and a 1280x1024 NEC1770 DVI on an HD5450. That 4th mon I want on the right but when I bootup it's always on t...

The Nvidia GTX460 doesn't appear yet in the GXM Compatibility Wizard. Is 5040x1680 supported?

Is 5040x1050 supported yet on the ATI 5000 series with the TripleHead2Go? I want to use TH2Go rather than Eyefinity so I can use the card's other outputs to drive extra monitors. For my instrument panel displays on Flight Sim.

I have the same problem. It occurs in FSX and FS9. It happened in XP, Vista, and now Windows 7. I have an ATI (H.I.S.) HD3870 IceQ 512 meg card and the TH2G Digital Edition. Monitors are Acer X223W. I run a 4th monitor (NEC 17") in the second channel for 2D instrument display. The Matrox drivers and...

Thanks, I installed RivaTuner but don't see how to use it. It's not very intuitive.

Is there a utililty that will show if I'm running out of video memory? I'm getting video card crashes running Flight Sim 9 and FSX on my rig. Changing video slider settings doesn't seem to help. I've also had blue screens when booting up the computer and at random times, with various errors reported...

KanadaKen, if you are running an ATI card you won't be able to get 5040 res, they don't support it and no prediction if it will ever be supported. You have to use an Nvidia card. My ATI 3870 is for sale for that reason. I'd like to see your setup, I'm building a twin engine cockpit at home in Edmont...

Thanks JKeefe. I was checking previous ATI cards like the X1950 on the Matrox site but should have looked at the HD2900. I think you are right, the 3870 should work.

I'm getting my feet wet in the waters of surround gaming and am setting up the components listed below. But now I see on the Matrox site that most or all ATI cards are supported only to 2560 x 1024, but Nvidias go to 3840 x 1024. Does this mean my 3870 won't give me 3840 x 1024? If so I will return ...
