Not sure if this is a migration bug or not, but I noticed that I was removed from the Insiders group after the migration. I can still see the Insiders badge on my profile, so am curious if this was intentional (as I rarely post). Anyway, keep up the good work, Forums are looking good so far. |

I fixed the Hud Health bar clipping (Tested in 16:9 and 16:10) Screenshot below:
Very simple fix, just replace the "main.hud" file in "basetherest.pk3" using winrar or a similar program with the one inside the attached rar file

Good to see a DR for this Awesome game, I Don't have it installed atm but I seem to recall a way to adjust the fov to correct for the Vert- in one of the ini files (I may be thinking of Gothic 2) I know that probably isn't very helpful but I thought I would put it out there. edit: misread the FMV Se... |

If your using a nVidia card with recent drivers, you can add a custom resolution to get a pillar box effect with Graphics Card Scaling turned on. If you are using 1440x900 the following settings "should" work (they do for me) if you have Adapter Scaling enabled in the nVidia control panel: Add it un... |

Not to take credit from Stevedroid for his work on the HUD files (Which he admittedly did more manual work than I did on the gui files) , But the new KOTOR page says that He figured out how to edit the files. However I was the one whom Originally discovered and posted the edited gui files and told h... |

Oh, I don't mind, I rather enjoy fixing (or breaking) stuff like this, It almost seems like the game may be rendering the black bar *in front* of the text, since you can click on it but cannot see it. One would think that with a vert resolution of 768 there would be no problem as the game runs nativ... |

Stevedroid: Could you post of a screenshot of your game at the conversation window so I know how big of a box I have to work with in resizeing the dialog? I have figured out how to make less text show up, resulting in only 2 options before haveing to scroll, so I may be able to make it fit so the ga... |

I think I have found the gui file that controls the conversations screen(dialog.gui ironically), am trying to figure out what the different values are for, though I don't think my monitor can run at that resolution so I'm not sure I will be able to test any changes unfortunately. EDIT: Editing that ... |

I have not seen any font size references in the gui files yet, so the only way to lower the font size that I'm aware of at the moment is the "Use Small Font" option in the ingame menus. I "think" it is under gameplay or feedback options if you scroll to the bottom, though I'm sure you have already t... |

No Problem. Though it should be easy to fix, The Patch tells the game to use the chosen hud gui file but not the tooltip gui file that should go along with it, it still uses the default of 640x480 so any tooltips for buttons that are currently outside that area do not show up, since the game thinks ... |

Sure thing, I used Kotor Tool and GFF editor to Extract the .gui file from the gui.BIF. Then Edited the Top and Left Coordinates for each piece of the HUD (Alot of work) after setting the isLocked value to -1 (0 means it is locked and it will not move even if you change the coordinates). I'm not sur... |

Just reinstalled this recently and couldn't stand the wrong hud placement on 1440x900 so I messed with the GUI files and fixed it (Mostly) only bug i'm aware of is that the tooltips don't show up in the right place if at all, but It's a pretty good trade off IMO. Just Use the Widescreen patch and ha... |
