There, all done. I feel like such a geek now, editing hud-files and background images  Thanks for the help, Sweetz! :D edit: I uploaded the edited files to MEGAUPLOAD, if there's anyone else that wants to use them. I used AVAST to do a virus scan for the .zip before I uploaded it. http://www.m... |

Explanation for how to edit the hud-files to get a hud for 1680x945 I did this, and it looks like I did it correctly. Would this be something I should upload somewhere so others can use it too? I didn't edit the 2D backgrounds though, I don't really know exactly what I need to change with those. |

Actually, your shots look quite a bit wider than 16:9.
They are, they're in 2.27, instead of 1.77, so they're quite a bit wider. |

Native. It runs in windowed mode on startup, but a "Fullscreen" button will make it automatically use your desktop res. You can also edit the "runfullscreen: false" to true, in the "Steamsteamappscommonaudiosurf", and the game will start up in fullscreen, skipping the windowed mode bit. Doesn't rea... |

[quote]Apperently the console versions have a fair amount so i guess it's safe to assume PC version will, I already looks as they took much more care in making this PC version. Capcoms PC ports have been great since they started doing it in house. RE4 and another game (DMC3?) were ported by a contr... |

Also, by "rejiggered for XP and Vista compatibility," I'm sure all they mean is they include ScummVM and have a script that invokes it silently. They posted this on their twitter page The classic adventure games don't use SCUMMVM or DosBox, instead they all have self-running executables for Windows. |

At the end of the day, this is going to be a bigger game than Left 4 Dead. It's five campaigns versus four, all five are playable in Versus mode, Surviva... |

Bummer, i thought it would work because they run on the same engine :(
It's the same engine, but it's a different version. The version in CS:S is pre-Orange Box I think, and L4D is an even newer version. |

Are the screenshots from a tutorial intro movie of sorts, or does the game use anamorphic widescreen? |

I'm afraid that this hack doesn't work with the Steam version of Fear 2, am I wrong?
Even if you buy the game in a retail store, you still have to activate it on Steam, so I don't think it matters where you bought it. :) |

Used to have this for my Xbox 360 before I sold it...the only game I really miss playing :(
Not really liking the PC controls all that much though... :/
Can't you use a controller with the game? That shouldn't be so different from the console versions, should it? |

I've been waiting for burnout paradise on pc, but before I buy it I'd like to know. How online-centric is it? Like on a machine without a net connection, what can/can't be done? Well, you need a connection to activate it, since it uses SecuRom, but as for playing the game offline, I guess it's kind... |

The game use anamorphic widescreen, like Condemned, Mirror's Edge, Assassins Creed, so it will probably take some work to get it to look right in triplehead, unfortunatly.

In the game theres Four 'movies' think of them as Acts. Each level within the game is a chapter. Each Act has Five chapters. So the demo is 1/10 of the game. Also, the subway map isn't the whole map. The map continues after the "safe room" out on the streets again, and ends in a pawn shop. Oh, and ... |
