[quote]Dude get 200-22in you do not want to pump 1680*1050 into a 1920*1200 monitor, you will get poorer quality than on a 20-22 I dunno just for a test I ran CoD4 on my 24" Dell at 1680x1050 with 16AA/AF it looked fine!
That may be true but 16AA/AF at 5040x1050 will be hard to run. |

-Can a 1280+1680+1280 setup work, and maintain a correct aspect ratio?
-Are there any games that have problems running in the new super widescreen aspect ratio? |

When I start almost any game the screen goes black and a "gxm" logo appears, then after a few seconds all of this crashes back to desktop, the game just crashes. However I then figured if I just exit the dumb gxm program altogether the games launch fine, I can go into the settings and set 3840x1024 ... |

Seriously I wouldn't worry about it, I wouldn't be surprised if it had native support. Most first-person games work no problem, it's only the third-person games like Mass Effect that have problems. |
