| you need a TH2G or an ATI AMD 5000 series card, i am in the same boat. but i couldnt do it in Windows 7, until i got either TH2G or an ATI 5000 series card (i bought HD5770) if you span horizontally side by side, left and right, you can do this with TH2G and AMD DX11 card. im so glad i was able to beat mw2 when i had the th2g+8800GTS..
im going to try to go back and see if the HD5770 can push the 5040x1050 via TH2G on windows 7 RTM |

| none the less, the tech's response was lame, his actual words were... "Matrox products are not supported. Use the final none beta OS if you want Eyefinity to work correctly." i was tech support, and i know an onset of a shrug off.. he could have made it a little cleared than that, like, Win 7 RC bui... |

im trying to push one th2g with three monitors.... via HD5770
it failed at first because i was running windows 7 RC evaulation..
im going to retest using the retail RTM version of windows 7... |

| OK I am back. i did the windows RC to RTM update. now my windows is Windows 7 version 6.1.7600 build 7600 NOW THIS EYEFINITY THING IS WORKING GREAT! next im going to go back to try the matrox th2g box, to see if i can get 5040x1050... ok, im going to give it a shot with a non RC build... will be back
JUST THINK, IF WINDOWS 7 had the proper spanning modes allowed in the WDDM achetiecture.. i wouldnt be wasting my time here.... |

just tried it with drivers that were on the CD, version 8.66RC
it is also a NO GO.
WTF again.
i bought this for Eye-finity, and it dosent work...
i mean come on..is it the monitors?
im like so going back to my nvidia w TH2G... |

i would enable a 2x1 display group, close and then go into windows properties, i get this error, when i try to apply 1680x2100

| i got a LAME friggin reply from an Ati admin in the Ati AMD forum saying that Eye-finity isnt properly supported on the WINDOWS 7 RC evaluation... but googling showed me that there are links to make your eval to retail... anyways, can you tell me the steps that you did to get your eye finity to work... |

| acutally, the 2x 20" would be stacked vertically, one monitor on top, and one on bottom.. in windows xp, i was getting a resolution of 1680x2100... with was the best simulation monitor setup that worked for me.. (FOV was not high.. 0.8, instead of 4.6 for tiplehead) because in lockon, and black shar... |
