Hi guys, need some advice. Been itching to upgrade and I think it might be time if it's worth it. My current setup is 3 Samgsung SyncMaster 2253LW's, the bezels on these are pretty large, nearly 2 inches when butted up together. They're 1650x1050 22" monitors. They are being pushed by a GTX 670...

So i'm getting between 25-50 FPS with everything on low. I'm still low level areas and i could just imagine PVP zones and whatnot, my machine is going to be hurting. Currently have a AMD Phenom 9850 Quadcore 2.50 GHz with 6GB of RAM and 2 GTX 260's in SLI. What do you guys suggest i upgrade? I know ...

Usually when it works everywhere else but not in TH2Go the 57hz is to blame.

Anyway I tinkered with it and got it working but since you were a bit dick about it I'm not gonna tell you how. Good day!

Huh? How was i being a dick?

I have TH2Go too and couldn't see it either. Propably because of 57hz thing? I have not tried tinkering with it yet. If you have SLI then why not use nvsurround unless you are still on XP? You think the refresh rate is the issue? You need to start tinkering with it lol I've ran TH2G for years now, ...

If you make changes to the video.scr file you need to make sure after you set that file to read only so that the game can not undo your changes when you launch it. I've done that, the resolution is being rejected by the game, ill set it to 5040x1050 then set to read-only, launch the game and it sti...

So I just got the game off of steam and it's not showing 5040x1050 natively. I've tried changing the value in the Video.scr file but every time I change it to 5040x1050 it reverts back to 1680x1050. I tried changing the value to 3840 x 1024 and that worked, so I know the method is working but for so...

you will need a new PSU also your 9850BE will bottleneck a GTX 560 you already arnt getting full preformance from a GTX 260 SLI. Gigabyte has a bios update for AM3 CPU's. Your board with the newest bios will support the AMD PHenom II X6 1090T and lower, Phenom II x4 965 and lower, I would highly su...

Ok, so that 560 from Palit looks good, under the power requirements it says Minimum 500W or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 30A), with my 750w PSU, would that be able to power 2 of those 560's? Or am i looking at having to purchase a new PSU if i upgrade to two of t...

How about this. Coming from 2 GTX260's what would you guys recommend as a "worthwhile" upgrade? I've read some stuff on this forum about people running into problems because of the VRAM? If that's the case, what do you guys think about a pair of GTX460's, the 2GB model? Tax return is coming so my bu...

5000 series and up cannot use the TH2Go higher than 3840x1024. So the best option is the 580 for you. Though, i'd say if you're not using win XP, Go for an eyefinity setup with the 6950's. This is what i was talking about. I think he was talking about ATI cards though so I think i misunderstood.

If you want an upgrade in performance while sticking with surround screen then you have to be able to spend more than $300. The 6950 2GB flashed to a 6970 is a pretty decent performer and is the only way to have surround screen for under $300. If you can spend up to $500 then check out the NVIDIA G...

OK, so here is my dilemma. Right now the only game i'm really playing is Rift. I have the settings set at Ultra and i'm getting 20-30FPS @ 5040x1050. I would like to be getting more, obviously :) My setup is as follows, AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz 4 x,6GB Corsair Dominator, 300Gig VelociRap...
