This bug finally forced me to disassemble my EyeFinity setup. It would always happen only on the rightmost monitor in my config, and required a reboot to fix. This is particularly annoying in a raid where you can't reboot for a few hours, and 1/3 of your screen is inaccessible because your mouse is ...

Well, I'm closer. I went all the way back to 181.71 and it will let me set the custom resolution to 5040x1050x57. Unfortunately, my Monitors change to "Unsupported Mode" when it changes to that resolution. They worked at that resolution in XP, so I'm puzzled by this.

I've been running XP at 5040x1050 just fine. This week I took the plunge and upgraded to Win7 x64 after seeing drivers on Matrox' site. That was apparently a mistake. I cannot get any resolution higher than 3840x1024. Every time the Matrox software attempts to install the new mode, I get "A Windows ...

No, mine is DVI. I haven't bought a VGA-only monitor in many years.

I wouldn't think a VGA-DVI cable would work at all, and I would never consider hooking an analog-only monitor to the TripleWidescreen Digital Edition.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

BTW, there is a discussion at SIMHQ where they comment that IL-2 is designed for a 4:3 aspect ratio and simply cuts the top and bottom off to achieve widescreen, and that this has been discussed with Ubisoft and there's nothing anybody can do about it. If that's the case (and they seemed pretty conf...

The Steam version meaning the version of the game downloaded and launched via Steam. I assume that's what you meant in your original post when you said "STEAM version"? With STEAM installed titles, the location of the game's config files and registry settings are sometimes different than the Disc v...

I only recently got my Digital TripleHead2go working right, thanks to this forums help. And some things work great. But one of the reasons I built this was to get back into Flight Sims, an arena I'd left behind a few years ago. To that end I was trying to get Il-2 1946 to run. Now, if I leave it at ...

I have the Acer P223W and I can confirm that it DOES work at triple 1650x1050. I had to choose "Display resolutions that this monitor does not support" in Windows, but it's a rock solid display and I've had no problems with the screen scaling or being the wrong resolution. Given all the other proble...

I just tried Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts and 5040x1050 didn't even show up as a choice, so that's my other DX10 game. Sorry I wasn't more help.

I can GET that resolution in LOTRO with DX10 but it's useless as the mouse isn't where it appears on your screen. I found that if you click the mouse a couple inches to the right of where you want to click you can often get it to click the right thing, but switching back to DX9 makes it work perfect...

Ooh, that's a tough one. I was searching for things that I thought were relevant. I think I searched "5040x1050 games" a few times, and "matrox triplehead2go game". I'm not sure now what search actually did find this place, but I'm glad it did! As for sitting down... yes, that helps, but the monitor...

I was looking at all sorts. I actually had ordered some Dells and they canceled my order because I hadn't ordered recently enough that they turned off my account! Grrr. By the time that got sorted out, they were out of them. So I went down to CompUSA (nee' TigerDirect) to see what they had and they ...

I just wanted to say thank you. I have recently bought a Matrox TripleHead2go and have been going nuts for days trying to get the triple 1680x1050 (5040x1050) resolutions working. Multiple emails to Matrox Tech Support, multiple uninstalls and reinstalls of Matrox software. And this place finally co...
