Have 3 * Samsung 2253BW monitors that work @ 5040x1050. No scratches on any of them as far as I can tell and no dead pixels, taken care of well less than a year old. Will sell all three for $300 + shipping via eBay if anyone is interested. Paid $750 for the 3 new from Costco I think it was. Thanks.

Regarding 3rd party fixes, I've heard that Game Guard is easily bypassed so I'm sure it can be done.

Samsung 3x 2253 BW 22" Monitors
Matrox TH2Go

5040x1050 @ 57 Hz working with no hassle (read: installed and it worked) with 182.08 and beta power desk that Mach posted above.

So is 5040x1050 working with vista 64 and gtx 280's now? I am using 175.19 drivers or something like that because thats the only way I could see the resoultion, did this go away with new drivers and the new suite? Or do I have to do some kinda custom res stuff I dont understand? :?

When I set up the beta powerdesk, I'm using samsung 2253BW's and they drop down to 50 hz when running the wizard. Then it says "an error has occurred". No idea :cry:

Im running Vista X64, Triple GTX 280 5040x1050 works provided im running 180.43 and the BETA Powerdesk. After installing 181.22 my pc Blue Screens. 180.43 works fine. I also get test failed for the 181.22 for any res I attempt to add. It apppers the issue is the Forware 181.22 drivers. Was this wit...

Argh, tried this and it kept giving me an error when attempting to set up 5040x1050 @ 55hz. :oops:

Eh, when I went to Best Buy comparing monitors the Sceptre's had a really poor color/sharpness to it compared to some of the others. I didn't really give them a second look. :?

Edit: Those have a very low contrast ratio, you're colors are going to not look as crisp as some other monitors.
