If your going to TH alot and find the 24's better than cheaper 22's or 19's in my case then it may be worth the investment, but I figure depending how close you are you wont see the outer monitors much making the size increase not really matter. The main reason why I am going for a Surround Gaming ... |

If you can afford the rest of that setup, I'd suggest an actual home-theatre setup, with proper receiver full-range speakers. Finding a good amp is the hard part, speakers can be pieced together pretty easily. Home Theatre would be great but that´s something I will be using in my living room inste... |

Def go for the 24" if you have the money and desk space. Quite a few games just don't work on TH and a 24" is a big dif (single screen) to a 22 IMO. That is one very good reason to go for 24"s instead of 22"s You have surely convinced me DAMN! My setup keeps getting better! :D And more expensive as... |

1) Use the just released DisplayPort 1.2 spec to increase input bandwidth so we can use triple 1920x1080, 1920x1200 and the new 2048x1154 resolution displays.
That´s what I would like the most!
But you would need one hell of a machine for doing it right! |

[quote]Does any of you guys have some experience with this one:Sadly that is what they replaced the original S700 set I have with, and it's much less capable with only 316 watts total power. They also have full range vs two way satellites. Plus they added features you don't need like wireless rear ... |

Is there also a triple stand available for three 22" displays?
I believe that Ergotron doesn´t go beyond 20", do they...? |

I picked 3X 22" 16:10 (1680X1050) Just because of the simple fact that TripleHead2Go Digital Edition doesn´t go beyound the 5040x1050 (3x 1680x1050) I like 3 x 22" over 3 x 20" while I like it big! I would love to go for Triple 24" but than you would "downsize" (?) the resolution I have to say that... |

I just think its a better idea to get one now, and see how it is. You can always get the 2nd one if you want it. However get both upfront and you may wish you did not and then would be in a bad position. I think that´s the best way to go Buy one GTX 295 and see what it does The 640GB drives are fa... |

I dunno, Jurgen, you've gone for an i7 920, rather than a 965. :D ;) Yes I did, it makes it just a little bit affordable... Makes more sence... Keeps things simple back at home... Darling, I just spent $$$$$$$$ on a Computer  (Sorry for the thread-jack...) I dunno why the 1TB drives 'drop ... |

Kind of jumping to the end, so pardon me if I am duplicating another suggjestion already made. No problem at all! Thanks for your input! First the GTX 295, why two? It just came out so its incredibly expensive also it would be considered "quad sli" wich has little support and probably poor drivers.... |

When I take a close look to the rest of the system it would be a shame if the Harddrive would become some kind of a bottleneck... I think it would be the best to spend that little bit of extra money for the 10.000 Rpm WD VelociRaptor And have a 1 TB Samsung SpinPoint F1 for storage It´s certainly n... |

I'm inherently a bit leery of RAID0. RAID5 on a decent hardware controller card, though, and I'm sold. ;) I just think that if data is split across multiple drives, you need some sort of failover protection. :) It is kind of tricky but performance wise... What are you suggesting regarding raid5? [E... |

Do you really need a 10K RPM hard drive? IMO the increase in price isn't worth the benefit. I am considering a raid0 configuration with 2 WD Caviar Blue 640 GB, 7200 Rpm, 16 MB, S-ATA II/300 It would be a lot cheaper and though fast enough to keep up with the rest [EDIT] I meant the WD Caviar Black... |

Well, on that front... eVGA or BFG graphics cards I guess. eVGA bent over backwards to help when I had a query once. I've not tried BFG personally, but they're supposed to be pretty good. I can get a very good price for the BFG GeForce GTX 295 and they even give a 10 year warranty!!! On the mobo fr... |
