What baffles me the most is the fact that you can change your key binds but the keys don't change within menu's.
Considering i play with EDSF basically all keys moved to the right..How have they not done this correctly?

Not a game breaker but come on!

Never actually noticed the UI problems until i played online. EVerything works fine bar the UI parts for allies, sometimes there on and working but 90% of the time there not. And the glare seems to scale +hor. Eg. www.unknownsock/bf3_glare.jpg Works perfectly on a single screen. Anyone else got this?

I know some people will say it's just meant to give you peripheral vision but let's be honest that seems like a load of nonsense, in real life things do not appear twice as wide/big and close in the corner of my eyes. I disagree, you don't focus on the left and right of your monitors, So why care?

Seem to not be able to get a centered hud also. Tried with 11.6 & 11.8 cap2 and 11.8 ccc and cap2. Tried resetting my eyefinity groups, reinstalling my drivers twice once with driver sweeper one without etc etc. It's late now so i think I'll try and get some game before bed! Although everything else...

i5-750. About mid-range nowadays. I'd be more inclined to say you also need to OC that to 3.5ghz+ if possible. I saw more a massive improvement going from a q9300 @ 3.4 to a 2600k @ 4.5. Than just going from a 5870 to 2x6970's. But GPU wise ideally you'd want a 6970 minimum. A 5870 won't cut it at ...

BF3 + Origin and more More good news (from article and posters actually participating in the alpha): - BF3 will in fact require Origin - The game must be launched via internet browser - The game will require an EA browser plugin - Switching servers requires exiting the game to go back to the web br...

You seem to be missing the whole point of BF games in general. And the two facts you seem to be basing your decision on is your "Strong" dual cpu and nerfed destruction. It's widely known BFBC2 requires to quad CPU, to play with high settings on populated servers why would BF3 be any different? Also...

I've tried everything since the update. My game just doesn't want to work with this, admin, every different setting, start before and after the games launch, previously thought it may just have been with the 1.1 patch when i last played still like this for me. On my 16:10 screen i still get the blac...

I only noticed the lack of crosshair when i looked at my mates screenshots on steam. Played fine without it tbh!

Also did anyone notice any performance hits when opening long viewed portals? Was a tad bit annoying, and in Co-op its almost unplayable for me, stutters like crazy at around 40fps.

well. yesterday I had huge tearing in Mafia 2 on my center monitor. I reinstalled windows, since I had to do that any way. after that I first connected my center and right monitor (dvi, hdmi). after that I connected my left dp monitor and now the tearing is only on the left one instead of center! I...

Running decent on 3 480's at 5760x1080 with high settings. Haven't tried any big groups or anything yet, but so far its very playable in the 50s-70's of FPS.

Tbh, if i were using 3x480's I'd never expect to even mention its playable, a game should work fine with that amount of horsepower.

Yea they've improved the wrong areas imo. It does play smoother but i feel its just like a hack n slash now. I pretty much played that whole demo by using, attack nearest target bind. Don't get me wrong i love Mass Effect but i still don't understand why they changed so many features towards that st...

I can't speak for surround users but eyefinity works pretty much as good as origins. All resolutions availble to me, with some surprising dx11 features that i didn't realise they had implemented. All cinematics are confined to the centre screen also which personally i prefer. One bug I've seen still...

Can anyone else confirm SP isn't working no more? Fix doesn't do anything, and crashes the widescreen fixer program.

Every other game works fine though.

Performance seems awful. 25-35 FPS in the first mission (kill 6 ghouls) at 5760x1080 using ultra or even high with regular AA. Must be a serious problem with Eyefinity or Crossfire or both. Both GPUs show max usage, though that doesn't necessarily mean it's being used wisely. For comparison, I get ...

Nvidia Surround is great imo, running 3 way SLI of GTX 480, btw the GTX580 3Gb cards will simply decimate any ATI eyefinity setup, wait and see. :D

For twice the price? :o
