To make it work you gotta change every resolution to desired one. |

Also Ive found a solution for mouse lag. Its seems that game is having hard time tracking position of the mouse when its above 60fps. Using v-sync will only degrade your performance. So use a little program called fps limiter. The link is below the post. Copy rar content into prototype folder , creat... |

For a 19" widescreen thats 1440x900 , and my native resoltuion as well.
Already told you , when I use hexedit it reverts to 1280x800 and i lose the resolution i edited. |

Can we get some clean comparison screens, so I can post on the home page? What comparison screens? Game allows me to choose only beetween 640x480 and 1280x800. You want that? Its possible to get to higher resolution but even then there are some issues aka windows pointer visible in the game. |

That worked , I edited my post. Btw , for everyone else , make shortcut of prototypef.exe to desktop , and at the end of target add windowed , no " or - , just windowed. In the same window select run:maximized. Now you can select any resolution , but windows mouse is visible in game as well , anyone... |

This actually allows game to be played at any resolution , but windows mouse is visible over the menu mouse , and its even visible ingame if you dont use v-sync.
V-sync removes the mouse and fixes mouse lag but reduces fps alot. |

Clean install.
Set resolution to 640x480.
Hex edit 640x480 -> 1440x900. Save.
Enter game.
Resolution is now 1280x800 , and theres no 640x480 anymore. |

I figured how to do a hex edit , but it reverts resolution back to 1280x800 and the resolution I edited is gone in the menu.
Still , Im interested how did Racer_S get that huge 5k x 1k resolution, it reverts back for me every time. |

Racer_S, could you please fix this for us?
I fear youre our only hope since atari doesnt give a .. about their costumers.
My thread has been on their forums for 3 days now , nobody from their support team even posted there. |

I change Resolution with Hex editor and its always 1280 x 800
Yes someone already figured that out , it seems hex edit allows only custom resolutons , the ones that are not on lock list.
LoopyDood will check that soon I think. |

So basicly , this works only for custom resolutions?
I tried to change 640x480 and 800x600 to 1440x900 , game loads as 1280x800 and i lost the in game resolutions i had edited.
Would 1440x899 work? lol |
