Trying to get COD4 to work on my Eyefinity monitor arrangement. It works, but I get a flickering and it seems to be related to the update rate of widescreen fixer. It seems that for a split second when being updated the aspect ratio is lost and then returns. It causes a sort of flicker effect. Any ...

[quote][quote]Thats what we did state - the Eyefinity pages state that the 3rd output requires a DisplayPort panel, not that a DisplayPort output should be used. And , do you think this is accurate enough ? A 100% clear sentence in this matter would be for me : "the 3rd output requires a DisplayPor...

And put 2 more passive dvi to hdmi on the DVI ports of the card and it will work from all the research I've done and I have picked through every bit info on this site and I ordered my Dell adapter last night. Actually, it's been confi...

[quote]At this point passive adapters don't work. Don't buy one for Eyefinity purposes All they do is carry on an existing DVI video stream. The secret to the sauce is allowing the DisplayPort to be a DisplayPort by coupling it to a authentic DisplayPort device. And a DisplayPort device has Display...

I have seen the '1920x1080 or less is OK for passive adaptor' around the threads many many times. However I have yet to see some one with that actually working. I think that is rubbish. From what I have read of what the limitation is it is nothing to do with bandwidth but the (non existent in the D...

If there are any electronics experts out there that can build circuit boards or design a community based instruction guide, this raw displayport component or something like it, might be able to serve as a base for a homemade Active adapter. I think if you order like a couple thousand you get a reduc...

[quote][quote] A guy on the members iRacing forums posted that ATI said that it will work with a ACTIVE adapter to use eyefinity enhancements. Since it appears the true active adapters had DisplayPort technology built into them. Note: these are around $100 USD. - Jay this is the best news ive heard...

It appears from the picture to be the same active adapter Dell sells just different branding. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Cables/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=330-5521 Not sure it will work for Eyefinity but it should be an active adapter. And with the Dell coupons fo...

So glad I waited. Now I don't have to feel I wasted the money on this ASUS 24 incher I bought and I now have a reason to buy 2 more. At 16:9 ratio will effectively give me really nice view in iRacing and I should be able to keep some nice FPS considering SoftTH guys there have been getting up to 70s...

I'm glad I skipped the 4xxx generation cards and stuck w/my good 'ol 3870x2. I was planning on going w/the 5k series anyways, so this would be an added bonus if it turns out to be true. I am glad I waited on buying a TH2GO now. ATI might just be earning my business back with this new little gem. Th...
