No not considering the hydra anymore... now I am considering a good mobo that I can go trifire with, however the mobo has to fit an lga 775 socket and use my ddr2 1066 ram, cause I dont wanna rebuy ram and a processor |

| Don't know if one 5870 would be enough, but if you plan to stick to your PLP configuration I would wait and see how Nvidia's Fermi turns out. It is expected to be faster than the 5870 and you could keep one of your 8800s as the secondary card, or go for a dual core and use one card. There may also ... |

| Now I know that the developers are on the fence with eyefinity supporting portrait x landscape x portrait, but comon..... look at how ideal it is to have that nice 30" flanked by two 20"s in portrait. You get the awesome vertical height and you don't have it too wide on the sides of your peripheral ... |

| I think what angers me the most is that ATI don't decide on what role EF should play. On the one hand, they promote it as THE gaming revolution, offering triple head gaming to a larger user group. | I too am running a 20" portrait x 30" landscape x 20" portrait configuration and pray that they FIX eyefinity to accomodate this. Think about it, most of your enthusiasts buy high end cards to push hi resolution screens and a TON of enthusiasts like me already have a 2560x1600 screen and don't wanna... |
