Game I recommended for 3D Surround:
Gears of War
UT3
Dirt 1 and Dirt 2
Project 64 Emulator
Dolphin (Gamecube and Wii Emulator) Build r4986 (For ATI use the DirectX9 3D Plugin)
You can play N64/GCN/Wii in 3D surround? How does that work? |

If you want 3D, you can go with nVidia and three of these: http://us.acer.com/acer/product.do;jsessionid=423226AD47B971B25F76B052FECAB34E.public_a_us004?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&rcond5e.c2att92=169&inu49e.current.c2att92=169&link=ln314e&CountryISOCtxParam=US&kcond47e.c2att92=169&rcond159e.att21k=1&kco... |

Not to mention that excessive gaming make you unattractive to women. Not if you do it like this: http://www.blisstree.com/healthbolt/is-it-a-computer-is-it-a-treadmill/ Or run around like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ym0tZSWGMc Or this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZQxB1nGAJo |

I've been messing around with anaglyph 3D gaming for the last week or so. I've tried it both ways, and I have to say, no matter if you have the facing inward or a straight, you are gonna get 3D. Now saying this, there's a crux. To get the 3D effect both eyes must be able to see any given monitor. T... |

Typically you will position and rotate your monitors so that when you are sitting in you normal position all 3 screens point directly at you, its very rare for someone to position them in a straight line. That's for 2D monitors; triple 3D monitors in an open trapezoid supposedly prevent the eyes fr... |

[quote]I won't be building for six months to a year (probably the latter); maybe some 120hz 1080p/1200p monitors or smaller 1080p TVs will come out in that time. This absolutely, It's a waste of your time even bothering looking for anything computer related even a few months in advance before buyin... |

So 120hz 1920x1200 monitors don't exist and won't for a long time (apparently) because of the physical limitations of the DVI spec, so the only option is 1080p for S3D, unless you're okay with 1680x1050 (I'm not). The only 120hz 1080p monitor I've found is this one: http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/0... |

It's beyond the scope of current EyeFinity. If it just render the whole area and used only portion of it, you're talking about a bit of a nasty performanace hit. Frankly, I wish it could do this stuff, because it would allow for some very advanced simpit display setups. I'm not holding my breath on... |

Well actually this would be pretty easy to calculate. Make your video card have "virtual ports" if you will, where you can configure it to be part of the large desktop even though they don't exist. Next configure the resolution so that it's 3 times what one monitor would be (multiply the vertical a... |

With Eyefinity6, using six monitors would be great for general use, but worthless for gaming, since a huge double bezel would divide the center of vision. So I thought about using five displays; a traditional three monitor setup along with an additional monitor above and below the central one. This ... |

You will probably have a headache with triple 28" I doubt it; the select few with triple 30" monitors at 7680x1600 seem to like it quite a bit. Here's Maxishine, that crazy Aussie, playing Crysis Warhead across three 30 inchers at 7680x1600: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPCJh8tYri0 For that, you ... |

Looks like this place is for especially interested. I read about one that made a room look like the command bridge of startrek. :P I don't see how. Even with unlimited money, there's just no reason to buy from them because everything they sell is outdated. I'm thinking it's a joke site now. Do you ... |

How much did you pay for your sol7 software? I was told that the cost was 4000 per projector. I was told hat there was a beta version of a consumer release but that it didn't have any edge blending capability. Can you still buy the flight sim version? BHawthorne mentioned on another topic that the ... |
