helifax's solution is working great for me. I only had to do a couple of things. Edit your prefs file for the screen size of course. Upgrade to latest catalyst drivers 12.3 (I was on 12.1 i think and the fix wasn't happy with that). There is a known problem with the 12.3 drivers in the release notes...

I made a video of the problems with Dragon Age Origins in Eyefinity. I didn't get very far in the game when I ran in to this and I haven't touched the game since I saw it for myself after reading about it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBdmoyAb1mU Needless to say I am pretty bummed about it. :(

Monitor goes to sleep correctly now. Hard to believe that that would have made it through QA on 10.1 . I've only played GTA IV and have not noticed any changes good or bad.

I upgraded from 9.11 to 10.1, having skipped 9.12. I upgraded for Dragon Age support. Since then my "desktop" (middle/main) monitor will no longer go to sleep. Its a bummer having to turn off my monitors manually. Otherwise I've had no other issues. Dragon Age screams at 4800x1200 with physx hardwar...
