FWIW I also started to get this happening with my setup occasionally and I am using a DisplayAdaptor -> VGA adaptor. Usually I need to unpug the adaptor and the plug it in again for the monitor to start showing something, but sometimes even that doesnt work and I need to reboot, and then unplug/plug... |

Thanks, that is exactly what I was hoping to do. I already have a DVI-to-VGA connector, and have just ordered a DP-to-VGA one from Ebay as I'min the UK and that seems the cheapest place. The Ebay one has a similar spec as the one TexasTango ordered. Odd that the 19" screen connection didnt work, but... |

If you don't mind running one of your screens in VGA, the DP to VGA adapters are considerably cheaper than the active DP to Dual Link DVI. $35-40 or so, IIRC. I've tried this with some Viewsonic 16x10 displays (running two of them via DVI, and the third one on a DP to VGA adapter) and it worked out... |

To alleviate this dont use SLS for your desktop stuff only for games, instead use a extended desktop. Disable all but one monitor in your ATI control panel and then when you re-enable a monitor that you disabled you will see the option of "clone" or "extend" use the extend option.
