| The title says it all. Would this be a viable setup to push 5x1 6000x1920? My biggest concern is the x2's lack of E6 support. I'd like to think that there wouldn't be issues connecting to the single (E6) card, but it's a lot of money to spend w/o knowing 100%. |

| I currently have a 5870 running 3x1 but I'm making the move to 5x1 and want thoughts on the best approach. | It's my opinion that you're always better off building your own over going with a prebuilt. You get to hand pick each component and you save substantially. 5970 vs 5870 - When the 5870 was 420-440$ and the 5970 was 600 it made sense from a price perspective. This delay really has me debating going with two cards, one lower end for 2D use only, and one for 2D/gaming, but I don't want to pull the trigger on that if the Eyefinity6 is out soon as it involves other expenses that I have budgeted for later. | The ebay listing is at least 3-4 weeks old. It was there when I first started researching my build. At that time it had a buynow price of 1800$. Personally I'd be highly skeptical, at 900$ it should have been sold multiple times by now. |

| You could go with 1920x1080, however all 3 monitors would have to run that resolution which would make the 1920x1200 (native) stretch vertically.
