ok so its not the firmware revision as we have mixed reports on 034 version units.
I have also tried this 8.70 9.12 post hotfix revision that was put on the net yesterday to no avail.

| well, nothing makes it any better. Ive changed power supply and motherboard in an attempt to make certain im not underpowering the stupid adapter, but alas it still blanks out randomly. I would really like a fix to this so i can move on. I know its new tech and bla bla, but before AMD's marketroids ... |

It just cut out on me while playing some TF2.
took it around 4 hours though, cant really say whether thats a direct result of lessening the EMI or not...

| Tech support said not to flash BIOS, as it is a driver issue and is in process of being resolved :-) Good news finally. ERIC Who's Tech Support, AMD/ATI or yer card's manufacturer?
