Hi peops, I have read this post a few times now and tried a few times. I just got mine to work from the start. I'm not quite sure about setting the "Left" and "Top" fields, but I don't know if I need to since I don't have black lines. I am running the FOV hack with the recommended settings: 5040x105... |

Thanks for the helpful replies. I actually searched quite a few if not all, but did so by going into each main category and then entering my search. The only results I saw was for #2. Guess I just need to get use to this forum, thanks for the heads up and the links. The reading begins, so far no joy... |

Its been a long time since I tweaked the mw1 config but I'm pretty sure you can add the command/setting to it i.e cg_fov 90 or something similar. Ahh, ok, I thought the setting would already be in the config to modify, such as already having the default entry of cg_fov 65 and I couldn't find that t... |

[quote][quote]You can change the fov in modern warfare to whatever you want via the console except in mp where it is capped to 80 and anything above this will be detected by punkbuster. Thanks, got it working. Kind of dumb how we have to reset the FOV in MW - 1 every level we start. I just figured ... |

Any chance you can send it to me? I have tried now for 30 minutes to download it from fliespamfactory and the link just sends me to more spam crap... Since the mods have yet to host it, I can from one of my own sites if you want, making it a little less painful and spam free having a direct link. Al... |

Hey guys, I have read this topic in a couple places and still haven't found a solution. Is there a way to run Need for Speed Carbon at 5040x1050 yet? I downloaded the "Need_for_Speed_Carbon_res_Launcher" (by racer) but it only has two patches listed and not the latest 1.4. I ran it with the bullet i... |

PM sent to Turbine777. Thanks, I'll keep it just in case. Right before I crashed for the night, I edited the numbers I posted in the pic of above and only those numbers and it worked. So in other words, I only edited the 640x480 resolution. Btw its 01075BC8 the line you should check. As I stated ab... |

take a look at this guide if you are stuck, its similar but we'll be editing 640x480 instead of 800x600 http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/10641 its not a string, its 2 dword numbers, so just use GoTo/Jump To feature and paste the dll offset 0x01075BC8. you should see 80020000E0010000 in the... |

Well, it sure used to be. With recent drivers however, a lot of formerly working custom resolutions are now "unsupported" somehow. :? I talked with Shrubbo, and they work for him without issue. He also mentioned he didn't need to do anything with nVidia control panel. I had a VK266h, and just bough... |

I started over and still have the same problems as described above, but have a new question. When Matrox referres to the "Dual link" I thought/think they are referring to either the card itself (I have a GTX295) or the cable going from the Trip2go and the comp. I just noticed that powerdesk no longe... |

Did you update your TH2go with the latest firmware? and the latest powerdesk? You should be able to get it at much higher refresh rates using those new settings. Because that doesn't sound like its the monitors fault, but rather the TH2go. I just bought the Th2go and it already has the latest firmw... |

Turbine777: I can't think of any reason why the LED backlighting would be a no-go @57 Hz. The official specs are of no help, but again this issue is not as "dead-ended" as it used to be, as it seems newer drivers allow refresh rates higher than 57 Hz, which all models should be able to output witho... |

Hi guys/gals, Unfortunately I found out about this issue just moments ago and just ordered 3 Asus MS238H monitors about 24 hrs ago. I am not sure what the minimum refresh will be at 1680x1050, but the specs on the spec page are: Horizontal Refresh Rate 30 ~ 85 KHz Vertical Refresh Rate 55 ~ 75 Hz Lo... |
