I'm sorry, this is a bit off topic, but can one of you with the game quickly confirm that this game doesn't have console port mouse issues like Ghostbusters/DeadSpace/MW2? I.E. Acceleration curve and/or a dead zone? I have this in my Steam cart and I'm about to check out but I'd like to make sure it...

I have no personal experience doing so, but I can't think of a reason FRAPS *shouldn't* work....

I'm sure someone else on this forum will know first hand....

Holy old bump batman! Did anyone ever stumble across a better fix for this one? I'm trying to pick it back up and I'd love to play it in my eyefinity native res. (hell I'd take 16:10 for my center monitor without vert-) This game in surround screens would be crrrrraaaazzzyyyy....

Hey guys,

I successfully made a modded pak01_dir.vpk file from the newest version and verified that it works just fine online, however I don't have anywhere to host it. Could someone here take my upload?

Alrighty guys, I figured it out! It looks like the pak01_dir.vpk file that GenAdmission was nice enough to supply us with is unfortunately out of date, causing the server to enforce version checks on the first file it finds. For me that was instructor_lessons.txt. I used GCFScape to extract the modd...

Is it perhaps something to do with sv_pure settings on a server? Perhaps. I should clarify; I was kicked from one server immediately until I replaced the original vpk file. The message said something like "this server enforces the file version for . When I replaced the original vpk file and renamed...

Try ... NOT ... changing the FOV. I don't think TH requires a FOV change for things to look correct in game ... The FOV setting is maybe changing the menus etc. That's it. I feel dumb. Thanks everyone. Now to locate a mod that lets me position the HUD on the center monitor... :-D Performance is pre...

Doh! Unfortunately it seems this fix gets one kicked from official "VAC" servers. Oddly, the file it was complaining about wasn't the file in question, however. I'll look into it more tonight and see if perhaps something got changed in the offending file by accident. Oh well. Otherwise this game is ...

I recall finding mods that made the HUD and UI elements smaller. Surely, if you investigate those mods a bit, you will find a way to makes the fonts larger than default... Hey Abram; thanks for the suggestion, but this is most definitely not an issue a mod would fix. I'm not really describing mysel...

Hmmm... I'm confused now. I completely uninstalled Oblivion and deleted the entire config folder. (as well as the data folder) Unfortunately, with only Oblivion, official DLC, Shivering Isles, and the newest patch installed I'm still having the same issue! It only happens when I've enabled the chang...

Your Pics look like you got good FOV on all 3 screen.s When i play i get a bad zoom issue on outer 2 screens and when a zombie is far away on middle its right in my face on left or right monitors! That's "normal". The FOV in L4D is quite stretched; I'm guessing it's in the area of 175. That makes t...

Well after changing the values to whatever it ends up like this all the time :(

I think you should try to re-download and re-do the edit. I'm running 5040x1050 and did the edit prescribed and it's running perfect! Make sure you start with the 57x12 as your base.

Hey all, long time lurker of this forum and I love it. I'm trying to get all my games setup for ATI Eyefinity, as I just got my 5870 setup. I've got a 3x1 config using a Dell 2210, Samsung 226CW, and my wonderful Sony FW900 in the middle. :-D 5040x1050 res total. I've successfully configured Fallout...
