Not that I've found; I run a CRT in the middle and it's locked at 60hz when it's working right. There is some bug that makes it stay @ 85hz, but when it does the text output is very blurry. Definitely not a bug I'd prefer....

I was checking out the newvegasnexus forums and found this for getting a picture back on the scoped view: EARVH42: Edit your ini file and add the following to the display section: fScopeScissorAmount 0 This will eliminate the masking the game engine automatically applies. I'm not far in enough to t...

Bump; Anyone have any smooth fix for the mouse movement? This game looks great and I think that may be the only downfall. I have the Logitech mouse, so I can bind the DPI independently, but I'm hoping someone may have found a better fix.... or at least worked out the formula for 1:1 movement; could ...

My 2 outside monitors are TN panels (one of which is the P2210) and I have no issues with viewing angles even in landscape mode.... I do angle my outside monitors in a bit, so perhaps that's the difference.

What FOV setting are people using for 5040x1050? I'm finding anything above 90 creates a riduculous fisheye distortion on the centre monitor completely disproportionate to the side monitors :( Remember that the FOV listed here is vertical FOV, not horizontal FOV as is the case in most other FPSs th...

70 or 80 is fine, depending on personal preference. There is no 'right' FoV. Iuse 80, most people I know use about that, although a few like it up at 90. IMO 90 makes it feel like you are looking down a tube. Hey man, just open your config file (my documents->bfbc2->settings.ini) and change the fov...

I believe it's a result of the FOV being portrayed by the game being significantly larger than what your FOV actually is relative to the screen real estate in your direct line of vision. We can really only see about 160 degrees total, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_field) so when the effective...

FYI, Afterburner can up your system power requirements massively for two reasons: 1. As stated here, it can disable powerplay. For that reason, I launch it and apply overclocking settings only when I'm going to play a game. 2. As outlined here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=315257 Afterb...

Hey man; I'm running 1 FW900 with a pair of LCDs on the sides and it's great; I can't say I've tried 3x however. Sounds like a daunting task power wise. :D I don't use bezel management because frankly it doesn't bother me. I overlap the LCDs over the FW900 bezels, so the effective bezel size is only...

Now, I am not an expert on CF/SLI but let's consider two of the common rendering methods, either alternate frame rendering (each GPU renders the other frame), scissor frame rendering (each GPU renders some part of a screen, separated horizontally). In both cases it's quite apparent that you don't e...

That said, I totally agree with your overall point. I'm very excited to get to 2GB per GPU. Taking your example, (5700x1200) that makes for one HUGE frame buffer. Since one has to have at least a front and a back buffer that makes for ((5700x1200x32) (WxHxBpp) = 218,880,000 x 2 (front/back buffer) ...

In general, supersampling is a technique of collecting data points at a greater resolution (usually by a power of two) than the final data resolution. These data points are then combined (down-sampled) to the desired resolution, often just by a simple average. The combined data points have less vis...
