[quote]I have 5870s in CFX and eyefinity with three 24" monitors. I'm pleasantly surprised so far. I'm just getting started with this, so AvP is all I've used so far. If you try DX11 in EF it's a slide show. DX9 is very playable and looks outrageous. So far I'd say there is no way you could NOT aff...

I'd return this game to BioWare if I could, but it was gifted to me so that's not exactly an option  Anyway not touching it until they get EF support. Can't be that hard, I would take a stretched UI/HUD if the FOV was just fine. yeah I feel the same, they dont need to go hog wild and optimize ...

I just bought 2 xfx 5870's and 2 more screens. Mixed feelings so far. On one hand crossfire and eyefinity is broken, most games are a stuttering and or screen tearing mess. On the good side crossfire and a single screen you can run every game maxed out to the hills including crysis. Buyer beware if ...

[quote]that is sad if it never gets patched, are the dissapearing objects in dragon age when using eyefintiy a driver issue or something bioware has to fix? I cant play either with 3 screens and there my favorite games. Yeah, that is another thing we may never see a fix for. Patch funding is very s...

I think one of the most important aspects of computing has been overlooked here, and that is using your computer for normal everyday operation. In that respect, multi-monitor aces a single big-screen everytime. So for me the answer is simple. If multi-monitor vs big single-screen is six of one and ...

I have 5970+5870 with 3 x Dell 2090WA 1680x1050 monitors (5040x1050 eyefinity). Games tested L4D2-AVP3-Crysis Warhead-STALKER COP-CODMW2-FarCry 2-COJBIB With crossfire disabled and just using the 5970 with eyefinity all tested games run fine though STALKER COP and Crysis Warhead have pretty low fps...

Hey, basically just like my title, im in the market for a monitor stand for my eyefinity setup. Although i just cant justify £300 for an Ergotron. Plus i just can't afford this atm. So i thought about making my own, either out of wood or arylic. Obviously wood would be initially stronger, but im ab...

Wow, that is worse than I thought it was. Anyway, the game is freaking amazing and the best PC game in a long while, I would advise getting it anyway and running it on one monitor, it's very worth it. yeah I already went through dragon age, its amazingly good. ME2 and DA:O my 2 favorite games of re...

Yes & yes. Using 3 Samsung 2494's. VSync set to Always On in CCC. The only thing I really know about VSync is that people usually turn it off, but somebody else suggested turning it on in CCC and it works fine for me. Also, I get the water effect on the windshield now in Dirt2 hmm well v-sync basci...

I'm pretty stable right now with 10.2, but I haven't gone through a great number of games. Dirt2 and BFBC2 really good for me right now. Tried setting AA and VSync through CCC instead of in-game? Motherboard isn't 16x/4x right? Cards getting full power? (ie...if you have 'dirty' power at home, you ...

hmm I havent really considered lo oking at my bios configuration. I know my mobo supports 2x 16x pci-e slots. I use the blue pci-e connectors but it goes like blue, black, pci, blue, black. I noticed other boards have both there primary slots right next to each other and the crossfire cables that ca...

by the lack of any positive replies I will say that crossfire and eyefinity is rubbish when used together. With that said I did download cat. 10.3 rc/beta and my stuttering did go away when I used crossfire with eyefinity for the most part.. the thing is I cant seem to force v-sync with crossfire an...

I just wanted to tell people that my problem wasnt the bios update, and it wasnt the active display adapter. My problem I believe was 2 issues. 1.) was a bad display port connection on the graphics card itself. 2.) Some of the blinking was from the actual driver version 10.1, not sure about 9.12 and...

would be nice to know if crossfire works with a 1Gb 5870 and a 2GB 5870 so u can use the 2GB vram but save some money.

I am pretty sure that wont be the case, unless they make a change. If you had a 512 4870 and a 1 gig 4870 they would both only use 512.
