With eyefinity, always go for a card that has identical inputs. Also, DMANNA Try putting two of your screens on the Display Ports, that should give you 2 that work well again. Though I really don't understand why the cards just cant output the same Hz on every output. That would solve the issue rig...

Not that I want to hi jack your thread but I am in a similar situation.. I have been using a 5870 for some time, but seeing as I am into eyefinity I needed, or wanted a little more power so I grabbed up a7970 and I am pissed.. I went from 2 perfectly working screens out of 3.. now I have 0 perfectly...

I sit about 30-35" away from middle monitor and love playing FPS games in eyefinity.. I had to mod my desk "ghetto style" to get everything comfortable though.

Back when I was using 2 5870's I got tearing with V-sync on or off.. I personally dont know how you can game with V-sync off because the tearing drives me nuts. I got tearing and a stuttering effect.. very sh*tty feel.. drove me to the brink so I just sold a 5870 and I dont get any tearing with 1 ca...

Man that really sucks, I was about to buy a 6970 because like a lot of people here I purchased 2 5870's last year but my experience with eyefinity and crossfire was so bad I sold 1 5870.. After that experience I will never crossfire and use multi monitors ever again. I need a little more juice to ru...

The only pre set that works is my single lcd preset.. but if I try to switch into eyefinity mode or extended mode I get nothing. Is there something else in the new CCC that I am missing? Making presets seems e...

My pc is fully up to date. Even the bios was just recently flashed.. Playing games with crossfinity is terrible.. I am talking with just 2 gpu's. I get stuttering and screen tearing... still. My lanes are both 16x.. and it the cards work fine when using 1 screen.. so wtf.

I am pretty excited to see the Single Player campaign. I never played the original SC but I did play the SC2 beta and it is very impressive. The graphics are whatever but I love the music the gameplay is incredible.. but you would hope so with 100m spent on development alone. I dont care about tripl...

Yeah I agree with you on the triple wide being a detriment as far skirmishes are concerned. But the single player might be fun to have triple wide resolutions. I played DOW2 sp in triple wide and it was ok, it probably would have been better with just 1 monitor though.

The monitor auto adjusts automatically. So everything seems fine there, but even using the dvi interface I have had color issues with this particular lcd. The other 2 match perfectly and even though all 3 are the same make and model, the one I am using with the vga adapter with (off to the side I mi...

So far the verdict is good. No blinking at all. I mean not even 1 blink. The only minor issue I see so far is slightly washed out color on the vga-dp adapter. This makes me very happy. I am now using cat 10.6 and this question is slightly off topic but is SC:conviction a poor performer on ati cards?...

[quote]To note, i used the Saphire Active DisplayPort to VGA adapter, not DVI. I didn't know they made one. :) Thats good! Yeah I just purchased this at the egg... came to 30 bucks though.. add that on top of the 100+shipping and tax for active display port dvi adapter... now I am pushing 150 bucks...

They really said its an isolated incident??... that infuriates me. That just tells me that they have a problem that they obviously cant fix because there are to many fucking variables. (pardon my french) I have never been angry at ati's driver team before this whole eyefinity thing. But I cant play ...

Greetings, New forum member here. I signed up primarly to enter the discussion involving these faulty eyefinity setups. I'm running an i7-975 on an Asus P6T6 board with a Saphire Radeon 5800 series vid card (bios version 012.011.000.006 from 9/14/2009 and catalyst version 10.2). Using (3) Asus VW24...

I probably shouldnt even bother posting but I will anyway... The dreaded Blinking is still here with 10.6. That is 3 driver releases in a row that will not work properly with my active display port adapter. I mean I would have given up on this set up a long time ago, with all the crap I have tried t...

I know this is veering off-topic but on [H] forums another user posted the same thing - blinking in all driver versions except 10.3. Convinced him to try a different adapter, he did, and blinking was fixed. I believe the problem is a combination of both loose timings in the drivers and poor lenience...

[quote]i wonder if these drivers will finally solve the blinking issue with the active display port adapter. The issue is not with the drivers, its the active displayport adapter. [quote]I have an ASUS M4A79 Deluxe mobo flashed with a brand new bios that just released last week. I have 2 5870's XFX flashed with a bios Dave linked in another thread. When I first got my cards I was getting crazy blinking because it was happening for multiple reasons. One reason was fixed with ...
