I got the game to load up. I can create a character and run through the initial video (dragons and fire and what not), but when I load the actual character itself I get a white screen and then a game crash. Here is what I've done to get this far: 1. DSFix 2.2 with resolution set to my bezel adjuste...

Both programs detect the current (bezel) corrected resolutions and both inject..but the game just showes up on all three monitors (1920x1080). No matter what drivers I am using or what settings I have on either program or game..doesn't matter. If the game DOES support eyefinity the game runs fine (...

scavvenjahh raises an excellent point. In a lot of cases, Metro in particular, the system is obviously GPU limited. Of course a more powerful CPU wouldn't help in that case. Playable settings, while horribly annoying from a benchmarking standpoint, would be a lot more useful as a realistic metric. A...

Well, I got the GFWL Marketplace program working, but the key listed there is the LIVE activation key, and doesn't activate on Steam. So on the plus side, I can download it now. On the downside, it's still tied to the GFWL Marketplace, and not on Steam or upgraded to the GOTY edition.

And when pushing those 7 million pixels, how important is the amount of memory? I can get the 770 with up to 4GB, while the 780 only comes with 3GB. The Titan comes with 6GB. Will less memory just influence texture detail, or will it influence fps as well? Short answer: 3GB is enough, more is bette...

I heard that Batman made the switch, but what does that actually mean? I bought Batman AA on the GFWL marketplace, so will I now get a Steam Key for it? Or am I forever tied to using the GFWL client should I want to re-install it? Product keys for both games now activate on Steam regardless of wher...

It's nice to see batman make a full recovery, and switch to steam. I really hope Fallout 3 will do the same. Having achievements for that game would be awesome. I heard that Batman made the switch, but what does that actually mean? I bought Batman AA on the GFWL marketplace, so will I now get a Ste...

250 pounds for a 6-month used 770 sounds awful expensive, but then maybe prices in your area are really high? /shrug As far 770 vs 780, the 780 can be 15-24% faster at the limit, which could make the difference between playable and not in some cases, but could also mean going from 18 to 22fps which ...

Is modifying the files for a different resolution something relatively simple / easy that you could teach us how to do?

It is pretty cool. On the other hand, I fear it may suffer from the same problems as PhysX: Nvidia exclusive and not impressive enough for the performance toll it imparts. Don't get me wrong, Batman and Borderlands 2 do some cool things with PhysX, but in terms of things that actually effect my enjo...

I can't speak for overclocking potential. From reference clock benchmarks, the GTX 770 is 15% faster than the 680, and the 780 is 19% faster than the 680, while pushing 4 million pixels at ultra high settings in Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, and Metro Last Light. Thus the 780 is about 3.5% faster than 770. 5...

Welcome. If you haven't done so yet, download Flawless Widescreen and Widescreen Fixer: those two programs are essential in getting games that don't natively support multi-monitor working. :rockout:

Not really. I'll try to find some benchmarks and extrapolate, but you'll be paying through the noise for a very marginal upgrade. Though I guess when you're around the 30s, a small fps increase could make the unplayable playable.

Eyefinity works on Linux. That said, the graphics drivers for Linux from both AMD and Nvidia are nowhere near the stability, compatibility, and polish of their Windows drivers. Once SteamOS comes out, that could certainly change.

i have 3 Dell U2311H, the previous model of that. And i can say they're great. They were not that expensive. IPS, DP, Pivot (you can turn them 90°), Vesa Mount (though not if debezel) The Stand is a little Problem if you place 3 of them they're hard to adjust. I hope they fixed that in newer models...
