There's a complete lack of surprise. So given MS have also said their first-party stuff won't restrict used sales, the difference boils down to choosing whether the cloud access to games and no need to have your game discs to hand is worth the 24-hourly internet DRM check... the rest is going to be ...

The whole DRM thing is clearly at the behest of the publishers, no matter how ignorant they claim to be. If EA, Activision etc can successfully broker deals with retailers to recoup money from used sales, there's a big incentive for them to shift all their development to Xbox exclusives as a result...

Sounds like they broke nVidia Surround as well now http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29221-tw2-ee-nvidia-surround-not-working/ Wasn't particularly hopeful that the EE would improve their trash graphics engine and it sounds like they in fact managed to make it worse, so I won't be bothe...

Yeah I'm also not getting a centred HUD with or without bezel-compensation, with Eyefinity. dopefish, is there anything in the config files on your setup that might be controlling the centering? Under DocumentsBiowareMass Effect 3BioGameConfig iirc. I've only got the settings from the game's Configu...

When I used your fix, the quest log menu screen wouldn't show anything, just a black background and some of the UI art but none of the text or options. Did anybody else see this? It was the only in-game menu screen that had issues for me. No worries about taking your time with this one, I appreciate...

helifax, when you get a chance to look into this, any chance you might be able to take a look at the quest log in the menu too? It's the only menu screen that didn't seem to work for me. I appreciate that it might be a bit more complicated than the main graphics engine though :)

I'm at work so can't check right now, however this review specifically tested overclocking and changing voltages using Afterburner so I guess it's a yes :)

I haven't actually tried Afterburner, used Trixx as it's a Sapphire card and didn't think to try anything else really.

I'm using the Sapphire Trixx utility, tested it at up to 1100/1400 and 1.2v which was stable enough in Heaven but I'm running it 24/7 at 1050/1375 and 1.15v

I have just bought that Sapphire 7950 - very, very impressed with the cooler. Playing the Kingdoms of Amalur demo with helifax's eyefinity fix, my old 6970 sounded like a vacuum cleaner but the Sapphire is barely audible above the case fans. It overclocks plenty and stable too. I think it came with ...

Even with he fix my screens remained black in game but I could see the UI elements (mini map etc). I lowered the in game graphics settings and that seemed to fix it. Apparently the Post-processing option is knackered in the demo, and doesn't work for anyone. Thanks for the mod helifax, it worked a ...

Hmm, pretty sure I had a crosshair when I played in Eyefinity - I held off buying until it was fixed - don't tell me they went and broke it again? Will have to check when I get home (and try the DLC!)

I'd be wary of relying on that Eyefinity validated list - for example, Dragon Age 2 has Gold status and yet if you click the "Learn more" link at the top, under "multi-display validated", there's the requirement "No individual HUD element may straddle a bezel boundary" which DA2 most assuredly fails...

Apparently the configuration utility adds a line AspectRatio=x to the User.ini file - I wonder if playing with values of x might let you set it to a value that the utility isn't showing?

The 2.0 patch is out this week, the patch notes contains this interesting snippet:
An option has been added to the configuration tool enabling aspect ratio to be set independently of resolution.
