We've had this discussion before haven't we? We did and this is the exact same configuration which works with The Witcher 2. Thought I didn't test it for the last updates of flawlessWS. Will do this when I find time and edit this post. EDIT: TW2( 3.0 ) still works, Alice is still giving me the supe... |

Since Alice was labeled "removed" I won't complain, but that's what the fix does for the recent Steam Version(and a SoftTH Setup):

I'd call it the SoftTH box :-D.
Great concept, but for me personally it will be way to expensive. This "adapter"(even thought it does a lot) would, on your projections, exceed the price of my whole graphics setup(3 screens+former high-end GPU+watercooling). That's out of proportion. |

Here is what I get parsing your SoftTH file supplied with the latest build - *pic* Correct? The Res is my resolution with bezel correction, the Vres is the total resolution of my monitors without bezel correction. I'm not quite sure if you didn't want it to be the other way around. EDIT: Since you ... |

Adding the lines didn't change anything detection wise, which wasn't a suprise really since the problem was resolution detection, not in counting the screens. Since you only need to read "renderResolution=..." I don't really have an idea what went wrong. Nonetheless, disabling the auto-detection wor... |

Happy to see you back in action. Unfortunately, my SoftTH config doesn't seem to be to the liking of your tool. Even though I chose "Display Detection Override" it tries to detect the SoftTh configuration and fails by quite a margin. In the attached pic you can see my settings as well as the log. Th... |

It should wok on all systems, there are just two things to consider: 1) You can't exceed 3×1280*1024. Choose a resolution beneath that limit. 2)You have to set the FOV in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Crystal Dynamics > Tomb Raider > Graphics > AspectRatio For me, 9000(hex) works ok. ... |

Actually I'm going to stop right there, because I feel like there are just features missing from most multi-monitor solutions. There's a complete lack of inflexibility with what displays get used, how they output resolutions, and what resolutions can be chosen. People should be able to "use what th... |

The reference card ships with 1xDP, 1xHDMI and 2xDVI connections. I'm assuming that a single-link DP>DVI adapter would allow you to run with three DVI screens.
It's even better:
You can use all four connections at once. So a passive HDMI Adapter(~1$/€) is all you need for three DVI screens. |

You could construct something like this with SoftTH. In Dirt 3 you would have to try to set the little screen on the coordinates of the rear-view-mirror. In Simulations like rFactor there might be an Option to use a dedicated part of the renderarea for the rear-view which can then be set up as the a... |

I would have voted for CD Projekt immediately. To make a game which runs on multiscreen setups, but only if you've got the card(-s) of the right vendor:
That's what I call "narrow minded"(or plain stupid). |

Different monitor sizes are no problem by themselves and I didn't say otherwise. What I said is: different monitor resolutions don't work. If you run a 30" screen next to a 20" Screen using the same resolutiion on both, the picture would look horrible because the picture on the 30" would be more zoo... |

At the moment, neither of the two supports different resolutions on the screens. The only way around that issue is SoftTH. Since it isn't compatible with Crossfire or SLI, but benefits greatly from "local heads"(monitors which are attached to the primary graphicscard), a HD6970 would be the way to go. |

There is nothing about Surroundgaming in there.
2560x1440 is an aspect ratio of 16:9 and Nvidia 3D Vision is a whole different thing then Nvidia Vision Surround(but they can be combined to 3D Vsion Surround).
But the patch isn`t out yet, so maybe we will get lucky none the less. |

It works great, because it's only subtle, without the th-fix. The fix makes it allways run on "full throttle", thats why you noticed it. @topic: Still not working with softth. log says some weird things: Device window pre-create: 0x0/4540x1050 Device window post-create: 0x0/1680x1050 Flawlessws defi... |
